This is the first year ever that I got nothin'.
I really have been wanting a fancy camera but I knew it wasn't in the budget. Coincidentally, the same week DH got an unexpected bonus, he also tried to take some photos of G with our point & shoot and inevitably got pissed off that he couldn't get the shot he wanted because of the delay. So we are getting a new camera! That will be both of our gifts.
I think I am also going to buy a sewing machine, WalMart will have an OK Brother's one for $50.
I already got Georgia a Cabbage Patch baby doll (going to be a tradition to get her one every year) and a few small toys, so I think I'm finished with shopping for her.
Re: What's on your holiday list?
My gift came in the mail this week - tickets to the Texans-Colts game in Indy.
L is probably getting a play kitchen and one of those little upholstered toddler chairs. I'm waiting until Black Friday to order both of those, hoping for a sale.
I don't know what to get J and he doesn't know what he wants. Other than a new motorcycle... but that's obviously not in the budget.
trashcan with a lid that the kids can't throw across the kitchen(i also don't want one that's $100!!)
coach purse
cowboy boots
home depot gift cards- we have lots of painting i want done
i'm boring.

Unfortunately, I already burned through my Christmas budget from DH by buying a new lens for my camera (which I LOVE) and some new riding boots (which put me over budget, honestly), so I probably will not be getting any of those things I have pinned.
I really want new edging for our front landscape (stone). We have monkey grass and I hate it...
new UGGS or similar boots
laser hair removal for my bikini line
immersion blender....
I'm going to see if DH would rather do a house project than exchange gifts. He's impossible to buy for.... and just bought himself ANOTHER bike...
I want tablet. I haven't done any research on them and I have no idea which one I want, but I want one.
I also want a piece of jewelry with all of the kids' birthstones.
Other than that, I just really need clothes. I have basically nothing that fits me since having Emily.
New camera lens.
Riding boots.
Living room furniture.
a record player/cabinet similar to this:
rain boots/liner socks
camera lens
i don't really ask DH for anything. i feel pretty confident he will chose to get me an iPad since I keep putting off buying it for myself. i also want an additional camera lens and a soft light (i made that term up) flash.
i don't know what to get him either. probably clothes because he hasn't gotten anything new/substantial in a while and he has just lost ~25 lbs.
the kids--- we are waiting to see what Tru settles on. Looks like big Lego sets. Mathis will probably get a bike.
a knife set & a food processor.
dreaming- ipad.
I didn't have much on my list to begin with:
Some new clothes
One of those foam aerator things for lattes (Aerolatte, I think)?
A small at-home laminator
However, my Macbook from 2008 sort of crapped out recently (I had dropped it once going up the stairs and it really effed it up, and they don't make the replacement parts for my model anymore). So, my mom and DH went in together and bought me a new Macbook Pro for our anniversary/Christmas. Annnnd, I'm done! I won't be getting anything else for Christmas now, which is fine with me, seeing as I'm on my computer all.the.time and needed another one.
I might get either the aerator or the home laminator from our family gift exchange b/t the kids on DH's side of the family ~ they're both very reasonably priced ($20 and $30 respectively). I'm hoping so!
DH doesn't really want anything...I'm going to get him some new t-shirts and I'm going to Memorial City Mall this weekend to have a silhouette picture done of Charlotte. I think I'm also going to have Char paint a picture for him on canvas.
Charlotte ~ she has asked for a power car and My Little Ponies, so she'll be getting probably a Barbie power wheels jeep and a set of MLP. I'm also thinking about getting her a princess alarm clock, the Crayola dry erase activity center so she can practice numbers/letters/writing, the Lion King DVD, and maybe the Hungry Hungry Hippos game. Her birthday is in February, though, so I'll be getting her some of that for her birthday instead.
I'm asking for love poems again this year. I asked for them last year and DH wrote me 4 haikus...lmao. they were awesome, though.
honestly, we are doing disney world, so there aren't going to be lot of "here, unwrap this" gifts this year. my mom has said she's giving us cash for disney, so that works for me.
