H got off work the other night at 7pm and sent me a text that said something to the extent of that he's glad Kaden stays up later so he would get to see him. Except he spelled our son's name Cayden. My gut reaction was anger since K is over a year, he freaking should know how to spell his name and certainly what letter his name starts with. We really do call him "K" at home. Then I remembered that he just got the new iPhone, so it was probably an autocorrect thing like we see all the time on Pinterest.
So I said something back about how that had better have been an autocorrect issue or else he's in hot water.
His response was actually it was Siri, the voice acitvation part of his phone. He can talk into his phone and it creates the text message. So that is how Siri spells K's name.
I'm sure it will be an issue his whole life though, since it's a name with multiple spelling options. Oh well. ![]()
