DS is driving me batty. We have holiday pics scheduled for Saturday and I bought a bunch of potential outfits. This kid has a full on melt down if I go near him with any of it. I some how wrestled the sweater vest on him and he damn near ripped his own skin off trying to get it off.
What am I going to do? I cant have his holiday pics in jeans, a thermal and his Pumas. I have 1 day to figure this out. HELPPPPPPPPPPP
Re: The Good Ol Terrible 2's
oh no!!
no advice here.. i hope you have a successful picture day on saturday!!
A has been the same way lately...She had 3 public tantrums today. I'm not leaving the house with this kid tomorrow. I need a break. LOL
I have been considering pro pics for Christmas, but honestly, I don't think she will do well in a photo studio this year. I think I may try to get her in her Christmas dress and christmas PJ's here at home and try to snap some pics...hopefully I'll get lucky.
I wish I had better advice for you. Good luck!
This!
Can you pick 1 outfit and put it on first thing, so its not an outfit change?
J is impossible with everything lately. Today was his first good day with me, and I think its because DH had him all day yesterday. We have pictures tomorrow, I am putting him in 1 outfit (black jeans lined with plaid at cuff & button down with sweater vest).
Tonight he went out in PJs, snow boots and a leather jacket... why because I told him to get his jacket (he picked that one) and get shoes. I gave him props because he put his shoes on by himself. We were only going to his grandparents so it didn't matter.
Can you let him choose from the outfits, will he do that?
What about xmas PJ's? They might look comfy enough that he'd be willing to wear them and you could make it "fun" because he would get to go out in his pj's.

I tried getting the sweater in him this morning when I got him dressed and NOPE. the second he felt it over his head he freaked. Then I tried telling him it was his new jacket ( he's been on a jacket kick). Wasn't buying it. Dh wore the 5 inch neck tie all night last night to make him think it was "cool". Waste of time.
He has a navy blue v neck sweater he'll wear and I have khakis with plaid liner too. I'm gonna have go that route or I have a black white and red flannel shirt that would work too.
This photographer does Christmas scene set ups so he'll just look so not Christmassy if he wears whatever. But you guys are right, I can't make myself
Nuts over this crap

This exactly!!! Some days k is the sweetest thing.... Some days I think "omg where did K go...... Who is this child? How am I bringing another one into the mix? Am I going to survive?"
This is me most nights. K always gives me a hard time in the evening because I'm the only one that's with her. When daddy is home, she's an angel. Figures.
