Poooor Sherlock... bad cat mama story

Yesterday I went to my mom's house for our weekly grandma visit. I was running a bit late so I didn't get a chance to say bye to Sherlock.

When I came home 5 hours later, I called him but he didn't come. Whatever, he's a cat. I did think it was unusual when several minutes passed and I still didn't see him. He usually shows up to greet us eventually.

I told Darian, "How much do you want to bet that he's basking on my bed?" I went upstairs to check. I had closed the bedroom door before I left. (V is a little bit allergic and can't sleep in a kittified bed.) I opened the door and Sherlock BOLTED out, didn't even look at me or meow, just ran straight down the stairs.

What a good kitty... no sign of cat pee or anything in our room, and he even came back to say hello.

  • Aw, poor guy! I'd bet, given the opportunity to lounge in there, he'd do it again.

LOL it's true. Last night before bed, he seemed way more intent on getting in than usual. I was like, "Did you forget what happened today?" and he just looked at me like [&]

  • Oh no!  Poor baby.  I bet he needed the litter box BAD.  And good for him for not using your shoes or something.
