OMG I'm going to India!!
I was selected to go to India for 20ish days in January with a few classmates as a part of an Oxford University program!! I am so excited and can't wait to go! Only bummer is that I have to leave on Dec. 26th and will be away from H on our anniversary...

We have set our itinerary and I'm getting very excited. I am applying for my visa tonight! So far it looks like this:
Dec 26 - fly to New Delhi
Dec 27 - New Delhi to Darjeeling
Dec 30 - Darjeeling to Varanasi
Jan 2 - Varanasi to Chennai
Jan 3 - Chennai to Nagapattinam
Jan 14 - Nagapattinam to Chennai
Jan 16 - Chennai to ATL
It's going to be a ton of travel but the sunrise in Darjeeling is supposed to be one of the most beautiful in the world (it's very close to Nepal) and Varanasi is going to be crazy - people say that you either love it or hate it. I'm just praying that I don't get sick to my stomach the whole time I'm there. I have to go to the travel clinic on Tuesday to get vaccinations and 'scrips for malaria pills and antibiotics.
Holy crap - that's amazing! What an awesome experience!!
Please take LOTS of pictures...I totally want to live vicariously through you!!
