my read shelf:
I can't decide, it's kind of a tie. If I had to pick one I'd say germs. I hold my breath when other people sneeze near me. I cringe when I hear people coughing. Public bathrooms just kill me. bleh, I can't even think about it.
A close second - clowns. I can't even talk about it.
This happened to me. It was horrible. I lost everything of sentimental value.
Let's see...I fear flying, tornadoes, and spider crickets. I also have this fear of getting my hair caught in a drain and drowning - like in a pool or hot tub. It's a horribly gruesome thought.
The dark.
Oh and DH said his 1st house had a ghost that he thinks followed him to his 2nd house, so now I'm freaked that our house will have a ghost.
Wives Unscripted
I'll come visit and tell you. I am usually pretty good at knowing if there is one or not.
The dark, for sure. It's a numbing, petrifying, irrational fear of mine. If I'm in a dark room, I literally have a panic attack and am paralyzed with fear.
I have no reason to feel that way because nothing has ever happened to make me feel that way - I just do.
Sounds like a plan to me!!
Wives Unscripted
I don't have any real fears. The past few times Pat has been out of town for work I get freaked out and think someone is following me up the stairs. Because we send Gordon to my ILs when he is gone, I'm not used to being totally alone. I've never been afraid like that before.
Amen Sista!
I would also say tight/crowded places. I can't sit on the inside of a booth, or table (especially at holidays). I freak out.
