I know I should probably post this on the baby board but I figured I'd get more answers here.
What play kitchen does your child have?
Has it held up well?
Anything you don't like about it?
I'm trying to decide between the wooden or plastic kinds
Re: Play Kitchen

We've had it for 3 years, two kids and it gets daily use. Not one thing has fallen off, broken, peeled, etc. I would absolutely buy it all over again.
We've had this for for about a year and so far it's still perfect. Madeline loves it and it's nice because it has a pass-through and she cooks/makes drinks and serves whom ever is sitting at the bar.

This is not at all practical price wise, but we have a refrigerator and stove made by this company.

They are the ones I had when I was little. 30+ years and they're in just as good shape as they were when I got them.

LOVE it! It stays in our main family area, so I wanted something I wouldn't mind looking at for years on end. It's been almost two years, and I still like looking at it! It is on the smaller side of play kitchens, which works just fine for our needs. Both kids love it.
we bought this one for dd last christmas: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3058490&002=2194806&searchdef=2194806&012=step+2+play+kitchen&007=Search&006=10451440246&affcode=1337675&021=11967164446&009=e&camp=ppc%3A431337675&k_clickid=07a23cef-38b3-9bc8-0a2b-00002d8d1020
its held up very well. my only complaint is that it didn't come with much, but i bought an additional set of food and dishes to go with it from target.
We have this one and I absolutely love it. It is larger than many but we just got it last year so I wanted one she'd like at her current height. (44"). She loves it and all the kids go straight to it when they come over. It has tons of storage which is nice for all the food and such. It also allows me to organize her play items so dishes and such are stored in the dishwasher when not in use; baking items like cupcake trays, pots and pans, etc. are stored in the oven when not in use, and then veggies, canned goods, random Melissa and Doug food sets (she loves the chopping veggies set, FYI) all go in the pantry or freezer. It also has a little clock on the side so she is playing at telling time and it has a little phone so she acts like mommy and talks on the phone while "Making dinner." Unfortunately we use the microwave more than I'd like to admit and it has one of those too so she can copy everything I do.

KidKraft makes several different color combos of this same kitchen. I got this one because our living room is yellow with light blue and I wanted something that wouldn't clash. If I had room in my kitchen I might have bought the red one posted by pp above.

We have this one in our kitchen, and it has held up well. Ignore the price, since it is inflated by a random vendor.

We bought this one last Christmas and it is still doing great.
