4 y/o bday party ?

DDs party is at her dance studio.  Boys and Girls are coming, none of them are from her dance class.  She wants to wear her tutu, ect.  Can she be all dressed up without looking like a miss priss?

She did say we could bring all of her tutus and she would share with the girls, but I don't want her to look spoiled because she is all dressed up.

Also, what would be a good non-cake food to have for the parents who stay to watch?

Re: 4 y/o bday party ?

  • I think she can dress up.  It's not about being Miss Priss, it's about looking "the part."  ;)  And I think bringing along more tutus is a great idea!

I'd have a veggie and fruit tray for the 'rents.

    Yes

  • Elsie always dresses up for her birthday per the theme of the party, so I don't think wearing dance clothes at her party will be weird at all!

Definately bring tutu's for the girls!  The last 2 years we've had stuff for the other kids to dress up/wear (ladybug wings, antennae and wands; this year the girls all wore princess dresses with crowns they made), it's been fun.

Ditto Cracky- veggie tray and maybe some bottled water.
