The house...

Not that you really care lol! Remember I told you all we're waiting for our house to be remodeled before we can move into it? Right now we're working on the bathroom... The contractors the boss man hired haven't done sh!t! So it's on us to get it done. The boss is still going to pay for everything but BF and I will have to be the manpower. These guys have supposedly been working on another house on the farm too...Anyway I've been getting the tile off the walls around the shower... Here's what I've found

So we have to finish pulling the tile off and rip out the drywall and replace all of it.. Yay!

Re: The house...

  • Ugh that sucks.  Can't you just hire another contractor to do it?

  • BF and I can't afford one and we know what to do, it's just having to do it... If we ask the boss he's gonna say we just have to wait. Our 2 options are wait or just do it. Fortunately BF's dad loves remodeling and has offered to help as well lol!
  • Gotcha.  I would do it too--sounds like fun!  I love DIY projects.  I was just wondering...

  • It would be nice if we could hire someone and just have it all done in a reasonable amount of time lol! I don't mind doing it I guess... It's just the having to wait to move... The kitchen has to be done as well, the electric has to be re done - it's the old school screw in fuse box which I'm pretty sure is not legal anymore anywhere, then we have to paint and lay carpet. BF's dad can do the electric and BF and I both know how to do all that needs to be done so I guess it will be a true test of our relationship lol! If we can survive this without killing each other we can get through anything!
