Christmas Photo Cards

Where are you ordering your Chistmas photo cards this year?  I've looked at Shutterfly, Snapfish, Walmart and Walgreens. Looks like Shutterfly has the best cards. (I like the folded cards)

Just curious...who is every one using?

Re: Christmas Photo Cards

  • I haven't chosen yet, but in the past I have used Shutterfly and Snapfish.

I love tinyprints, but they are expensive!  And I order a lot of cards!

  • Shutterfly: I was going to order directly from Erin Condren and was hemming and hawing when I found a similar card (not suprisingly...also designed by Erin Condren!) that I loved. Hoping it lives up to my expectations!

I've made cards via iPhoto/Apple the past 2 years and got tons of compliments.

Prior to that, I used TinyPrints and even for the atrocious amount of money I paid, I was never 100% happy with the final product: the cards from Apple just looked more professional and higher quality for roughly the same price.

  • I have my brother design them for me.   I find a couple cards that I like, show them to him, and explain what I am looking for.   Then he designs the layout for me.   I print them at Costco.   They have an option for you to upload your own template.   Can't beat the price   14.99 for 50 cards.     They are not folded card though.

  • I love Snapfish because it is so easy since my photos are all uploaded there as well.  Last year, they were a great hit.  I like to put text on the very back of the card also.

This year, I went with the traditional Caspari card & added the Snapfish photos for .1 cents/each...so, LOL, this was way cheaper & the Caspari card stock is beautiful.

  • I have always gone with Shutterfly.  I ordered mine the other day and there was a 40% coupon code at the time, free shipping + 1 free card (whooptie doo! lol).. I ended up saving about $93 off my total order.
  • I've seen lots of good cards on snapfish, shutterfly, don't forget vistaprint. My problem is that I've cropped the picture I want to make it usable and now the websites all say the resolution is too low. I was determined so I kept working and found Sam's Club has worked. I got 50 photo cards for $14.50. Ordered them today, picking them up tomorrow.
