After 4 weeks of non-stop spotting, I started spotting bright red earlier today. Maybe TMI, but previously it had always been dark brown which was reassuring. Anyway, I called up my doctor who had me come in for an US. My doctors office is over an hour away from my house, so it was a long car ride there. I was sure the news wouldn't be good.
But somehow someway I still have a growing baby inside me. Previously they were somewhat concerned that the baby was measuring small at my last US but today the baby was measuring big and they moved my due date up to June 27, which is the date I initially thought it was. And the baby had a good, strong HB of 180. Thank goodness!!
However, I am still spotting bright red and I have no answers as to what is causing it. My doctor said my lack of cramping is a good sign and is confident that everything will be ok. I have another US scheduled in 4 weeks, which will also be the start of the 2nd tri, so fingers crossed I can make it there without anymore complications!!

Re: This pregnancy is going to give me a heart attack
Wow, how stressful!
I'm glad you got to see your LO growing in there! Keep pumping the fluids and rest as much as you can!

PAIF/SAIF/PGAL welcome
Sorry about the ongoing spotting but I'm glad baby is growing strong. I know this is easier said than done, but just relax and let your body do what it's supposed to do...grow a healthy baby
FWIW, I have a friend who spotted up until 20 weeks and now has a healthy 7-month old girl.

OMFG... I can't even handle reading that, so I can't imagine living through it (well, I did for a few weeks).
So glad things are okay though!!!
