In the Arab News today:
http://arabnews.com/saudiarabia/article535034.eceLike I said, it's not the best picture, quality-wise. The show was outside at night and I was sitting in darkness while the stage was only lit be some spot lighting that cast these weird shadows on people's faces. With out an external flash for my camera, I couldn't do much to eliminate the shadows.
Still, pretty cool to look at it and know it's my picture.

I don't really know the rules on that and intellectual property rights and the like are not regulated in Saudi Arabia like they are in the U.S. I'm not even certain whether I would be allowed to take photo credit since I was kinda sorta unofficially acting on behalf of the Embassy when I took it.

The picture looks great! Congrats!!
The event was great. As you might imagine, there aren't a whole lot of comedy shows happening in Saudi Arabia. The best part was that four of the five comedians were Arab and all five were really good. The crowd really enjoyed the show. It was the hottest ticket in town. That's one of the coolest parts of my job, seeing the cultural exchange and how much it does to build bridges.
