I really like this board, but will be honest, it can be slow.
Can definately tell by the amount of views that there is a lot of people that come on here...... how come a lot of you people don't post?
Come on "none posters" let me know!

To be honest, I'm a little intimidated. I've been a lurker for about a year now, and I think I've got the "culture of the board" down and all that, but I'm still a little afraid to take the plunge.
This.
You just did.....
So don't stop now.
I've been lurking on this board since I joined the Nest, and even posted my own TIP a few years ago, then DD'd, but eventually DTMFA'd.
I usually have nothing to add by the time everyone else comments, but I need to get my drama fix somewhere.
Sometimes I have nothing new to add and don't feel like quoting someone and saying, "This!"
I always think of threads to start when I'm driving home from work, stuck in traffic. But then I forget once I get home. My memory sucks.
This! lol
Everyone else usually says things better than me. I try to post but really don't have much to say unless I'm AWing my kids lol.
Sometimes I read a thread and realize that either I have nothing new to add or that I can't seem to focus my thoughts in a way that won't come across sounding like "You're such an unbelievable dumbass"
LOL I think of threads that I've read that make me want to shake the person and think of replies I'd like to make (usually after I've made one and wasn't happy with it). Like that Springs1 nutjob and several TIP cases - dating a convicted child porn guy comes to mind...I still can't believe someone would risk losing their kids to date some skeeve who sat in a school library watching porn. Yish.
And I'm with Nitaw - I love reading HS' and BBE's responses to some of those. They should have their own line of bumper stickers with memorable quotes.
I'm only on at night, and by that time anything I'd want to say in a thread has already been said, and I don't want to be that person that doesn't have anything to say except for "this".
Sometimes I'll think of something that I think is clever, but when I scroll down and see someone else has already said it. So, I don't get credit for coming up with something clever or funny, but I'll get the personal satisfaction of knowing that I thought of the same response as one of the popular regulars. Lame, I know. I have to get my self-esteem from somewhere....
