What age- kid spending the night at friends house?
What age would you let your child spend the night at a friend's house?
Elsie and her BFF have been talking about this lately. I don't know if I am ready and don't really know the age that kids are good with being away from home overnight other than family members houses (E loves going to grandma's and my BIL/SIL house to spend the night).

Mine was 5 in August & I would not let him stay at a friend's house for the night, I think he would be nervous. With his cousins, yes, but he has not done it yet. He is a more shy/reserved kid, I imagine some kids his age would be totally fine.
I think right around 5 (ish) is when kids are getting to be ready.
This for both of mine...they want to sleep in the same bed together most of the time because something has 'scared' them that day. LOL! I think they would both ask to do it and want to do it and then I'd get a call at 3 a.m. to come pick my crying child up.
