OMG last night, the rattlesnake, yeah I just FF'd through that whole segment. I just couldn't watch it.
I don't know anyone's names yet, so I'll stereotype here. I like the Mexican guy on the team that won. He seems really sweet and cute. I love the boss man from the Chicago restaurant whose assistant is also there. I love the girl that got in through the "on the bubble" challenge. And I also really like the girl with the tattoos and black hair who seems a little goth? Anyway, no one really stands out as a culinary genius quite yet, IMO.

Yes! Holy crap... When they said your ingredient is in the box in front of you, it was so funny to see everyone step back from the table like... is it... ALIVE?! And I wondered, but surely not. Of course it wasn't, but omg. I realize that it's just essentially a long stick of meat, but, I just am not sure I could do it. It was just too disturbing.
The girl that threw the big guy under the bus really bugs me. You can tell she's super annoying, probably not that talented, but really great at passing the buck. It was mind blowing how everyone said they weren't there to 'boss each other around' and yet that is the WHOLE POINT of being a top chef: you are the boss. Duh.
In related news, I love Hugh. He's so nonsense free.
