Totally random but what kind of law do you practice? I always wondered and figured I'd ask. 
My Dh does Health/CON law. Meaning he hangs out with hospital admin a lot.

I practice in the area of commercial real estate. I'd say about 50% of what I do is purchase and sale of various kinds--office, industrial, and retail buildings are the biggies. I've done some random ones over the years a campgrounds and coal mine were my favorite. The firm I started at out of law school did a lot of hotel work too, but in the past few years that kind of work has been slow. About 40% is financing work, representing either the lender or borrower both for acquisition financing or refinances. Over the past few years, I've also done a lot of distressed debt work, restructuring loans, selling/buying loans, etc. The other 10% is leasing, development, and miscellaneous.
I'm really fortunate because I love my job, and I know a lot of lawyers who don't. It can definitely be time consuming and stressful, but at the end of the day, I wouldn't change it.
Lol, re your DH and how you describe what he does. If B had to describe what I do, I think he would say something quite similar only relating to real estate. Has he had any luck finding a new job? I remember you saying he was looking.
