Holiday GTG
It's that time of year again! 
Last year we had our holiday GTG at Biscotti's and it was a big success. There has been interest in doing it again this year so this is an initial "feeler" thread to see what everyone would like to do. I'll take all the info from this thread and make another one for us to make final decisions.
Location:
- We went to Biscotti's last year and it was very good. However, there are a lot of restaurants in Jacksonville so we are open to other suggestions. It was mentioned that the Town Center is a good central meeting place since we're all pretty spread out so if anyone would like to try a particular TC restaurant, feel free to throw that in the loop. Any suggestions are welcome at this point and then those of us planning to attend can vote/discuss.
Date:
- As people travel closer to the holidays, we were thinking earlier in December would be better but are open to input on this. Also, I believe last year we went on a weekday. Is this still the consensus or do we want to try a weekend?
Gift Exchange:
- Last year we used Elfster to do a gift exchange. We had a $15 maximum. Thoughts on doing this again and on the amount we should spend?
Re: Holiday GTG
Location -- I like TC. I know Bahama Breeze has a small back room where they usually stick larger parties.. I still haven't been to a lot of the newer TC places.
Date -- I'm fine with anything before the 19th, with the exception of the 3rd and the 10th (I could go, but might be late).
Gift Exchange -- impartial-to-yes.
I think the $15 max is good.
My Ovulation Chart
I vote no. This will be my fourth (JFC) local board holiday GTG. The first was with H's and the last two have been without and I very much prefer without.
Any dates work for me except the 8th and whatever we decide for book club. I'd prefer a Thursday or even a Friday.

In the TC, we could do Cantina Laredo, PF Chang's, Black Finn...
If we want to do downtown/Riverside again, but somewhere different there's The Brick right across from Biscotti's that I've heard really good things about.
Or we could keep it casual and do Mellow Mushroom or something.
I vote any day except book club, and I'm okay with a Friday night as well.
I would say PF Changs is probably bad because it's so loud and open, but Cantina Laredo would be good, or we could see if Seasons 52 would take a reservation for this large of a group.
I vote no husbands, someone's gotta stay home with the kid.
