Re: Five Things Friday
1) I want to see the movie Breaking Dawn this weekend so bad! DH is not nearly as excited to go see the movie.
2) I'm starting to get nervous that neither DH or I will be able to transfer with our jobs. I know it will eventually happen but I want it to happen in January. I know I need to be patient but I am not so good at the waiting game.
3) I am determined to take a fun vacation next year. DH and I haven't had a real vacation alone since our Honeymoon.
4) I love the movie 16 Candles.
5) I'm excited to shop for the ornament for the elfster exchange!
1. So I know I haven't been around much lately. A LOT has been going on, and I haven't felt comfortable posting about it until now.
2. I quit my job. DH and I own a small business that is growing, and I will be running it full time now. Yesterday was technically my first day.
) It's both a little scary and extremely liberating at the same time!
3. Two days after I gave my notice at my job, I got into a car accident....I rear-ended someone. It was really stupid and embarrassing (no, I wasn't texting, but still wasn't paying attention like I should have been). Luckily I wasn't going very fast and no one was hurt. Most of the damage was to my car, so I've been without a car for 2 weeks now while it is in the body shop.
4. I also got a ticket for said accident, so yesterday I had to go to court to ask for the points to be waived. Thankfully the judge was nice and did waive them.
5. I also found out that I overused my vacation at my other job (oops), so I basically worked for free the last week I was there because I had to "pay back" that time. Oy.
6. It's been a crazy couple of weeks, and I'm looking forward to getting back into a routine.
) I will probably DD this later, sorry.
1- I am telling my parents this weekend about the baby and I can hardly contain my excitement!! My mom is going to be so happy.
2- At the same time, I am scared to tell my dad. We had plans to qualify for the Boston marathon together (which we did), train together and run it together. Unfortunately, I will be 32 weeks pregnant. I am still hoping I can do it (of course it will be more of a walk) but I want my dad to run and not feel obligated to stick with me.
3- I then get to test all of my family by telling them no facebooking it or telling anyone else. I want to wait to tell my mom's side at our big Christmas eve dinner. That will be the ultimate test for her!
4- My tree has been up w/ the lights, topper and skirt for a week but I have not put the ornaments on. I am doing that saturday night w/ DS!
5- I have a really bad craving for a burger and fries w/ lots of ketchup and salt.

1. I really wish I'd taken the time to find a hat before running out the door this morning. My ears almost froze waiting at the bus stop!
2. I'm having a really hard time coming up with a wish list for Christmas this year. Not sure why, but it's frustrating.
3. It looks like I won't be seeing my family at all for Thanksgiving. They're all going to Indiana and I don't think I can make the trip. It makes me sad when they all celebrate holidays without me.
4. I told myself I can't buy any more fabric until I use up some of what I already have. And I have a lot.
But I found some that I really really want...
5. I just want this day to be OVER so I can go home! Go Friday Go!!!
That's so exciting Mara!!! I'm sorry about the accident though. Accidents suck.
1. I'm trying to figure out what I want for Christmas besides gift cards!
2. I have no interest in the Twilight movies (which will make watching Ellen that I dvr go by quick today, I'll skip that interview).
3. Yet I can't WAIT to go see the Muppet movie next week!
4. Anyone want a VERY whiny 3 yr old? It's getting very old now.
5. Glad the sun is out, now only if it would be a bit warmer out!
1. I have had so many meetings and big projects to do this week. I cannot wait until the day is done!
2. I was pleasantly surprised to see that part of our parking lot was given back to us today! It has been taken over by construction equipment over the last few weeks... It was nice to be able to park close to the office again this morning.
3. I am starving, I haven't had breakfast yet... This is not a good habit...
4. I have been listening to Lady Gaga for the past two days. I need to download a new cd soon... (although, I really like this one...)
5. I cannot wait to start decorating for Christmas! I need to buy more decorations!

I Agree!! Is 18 months to young to go to the movies??!?! I love the Muppets!!
I agree congrats on making the change!! How exciting!!
You are my hero
At 32 weeks I don't think I could even bend over to tie my shoes!
I missed your announcement -- congrats!!
That's why I wore slip on tennis shoes!
You could be that gal in Chicago that did the marathon at 38 wks & then delivered a few hours later!
Defends on how well she'd sit through it. We're thinking of going after dinner on Thanksgiving, my SIL wants to go w/DH & me, and that way we'd have both parents & my aunt watching the kids (DH doesn't want his parents alone to watch the kids).
daisysle: Congratulations!
Mara: Congrats to you too! That's so awesome. Did you ever think that would happen when you guys decided to build the booth for your wedding?!
. brookie's cookies & more . miss wayne county . pinterest .
1. I'm actually dreading all that I have going on tomorrow. 1st birthday party in the morning in FH, wedding on the east side, and SIL's 21st birthday celebration back in FH. Oy!
2. DH surprised me by coming home early last night from hunting. I was excited to see him, but bummed my quiet time ended.
3. I need a new winter coat.
4. I am currently listening to Christmas music and it's the only thing getting me through this day.
5. Two more months and I'll have my MBA! I. Can't. Wait.
1. I am super apathetic today.
2. While I was driving around this morning I was totally on autopilot. I'm pretty amazed I made it out and back alive.
3. I need a shower like whoa.
4. I'm REALLY sick of reading a lot of the crap on the GP and TTGP boards.
5. But I can't stop. I'm obsessed.
Congrats Mara! That's awesome
Congrats steph/daisy on the baby! I missed that announcement.
Everything Wedding ♥ Persnickety Plates
Congrats Mardoll! That is really exciting. My DH would love to run his own business...but you need an idea to do that ;-)
Congrats Daisysle! H&H 9 :-)
1. I can't wait to see Breaking Dawn. I never go see movies on opening night...but I kind of want to. We'll see what DH says about that.
2. I'm already exhausted thinking about this weekend and it hasn't even started.
3. We're having new flooring installed tomorrow, and I want to get the Xmas decor up and get the house ready for my parents' Thanksgiving visit. A lot of work is to be done.
4. My dog has an ear infection and hates ear drops. It is so hard to give her the drops because she hates it and she cries :-( She's also getting groomed tomorrow. Tough week for her!
5. Our granite was installed on Wednesday. It looks awesome! I also finished painting our cabinets last night. FYI: it is hard to paint cabinets at almost 30 weeks pregnant. I can't wait to have my kitchen back with everything in its place!
Mara - I'm really excited for you and this new change in your life.
Daisy - How exciting that you're telling the news!! I can't wait to hear how your parents react!
Bronco - I'm gonna pass on the offer of your whiny 3 year old, because I have my own to contend with.
1. There has been some crazy family drama going on in my family for the last few months and it's really getting to me.
2. I hate how everytime something good (Lily being born) happens in my life, it seems to get completely overshadowed by something equally as negative and terrible (family drama).
3. I'm feeling pretty negative/emotional/upset today.
4. A friend just sent me all the pictures he took during Lily's Baptism, and I think I look absolutely terrible in all of them. Blah.
5. I'm finding it hard to eat right and lose the rest of my "baby weight" with the holidays approaching.
Aww, keep your chin up, it will be ok! <<hugs>>
1. My credit card bill is the highest it's been in a while. Woops.
2. I wish the contractors would hurry up and finish framing the house next door. Although they're not terribly noisy, I worry about them waking up J&J.
3. I have no idea what we're having for dinner. Seriously, no idea.
4. We can finally park our cars in the garage!! The basement is extremely cluttered now though. I have no idea how we fit all of this stuff at our old house.
5. I think I hear someone up from their nap, that was quick. Now playtime is over.
Good luck with the new adventure Mardoll!
1. Everytime I see that sig pic of Babya's twins, it makes me smile
They are so cute!
2. Only 8 more minutes before I get to leave. This week has just dragged on and on.
3. I am thankful tomorrow is the last MSU home football game. I really want my Saturdays back.
4. If MSU goes to the Big 10 title game, DH wants to host all our friends at our house. I'm very nervous for this to happen because I've never hosted that many people. Plus I want everyone to like our new house and I still have a lot of stuff I wanted to do before we really show it off to people (although we've been there 3 months already...)
5. I only work one day next week which is super awesome
