Oh Friday, how I love you!
Its Friday! How was your week? Plans?
...here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
I carry your heart(I carry it in my heart)
Re: Oh Friday, how I love you!
Im so glad its Friday. I had a hell-acious week, seriously.
Today/Friday: Avery and I are off to two cabinet places to price out cabinets I want. I have the specs done up from one cabinet place, now its time to get comparisons and get to haggling. *This is going to be fun! Then we're off to Staten Island to meet DH and hit up Home Depot/Lowes to select my pasta arm, pendant lighting, and flooring for the kitchen. Pizza night because I never cook on a Friday.
Saturday: More packing for me, off to Soho to purchase our dining room furniture, and and then Im off to SI to sell some of the lighting that was left in the house by the previous owner. Chandeliers, sconces, the fireplace poker set..things like that. Im selling it to an antiques store for a little cash. Extra cash is nice to have. I might get window treatments, but I feel like its going to be a crazy day. LMAO
Sunday: Might have lunch with my bestie and her daughter. I need a bit of a distraction from all this work.
Hope you have a great weekend everyone!
Alisha, your shopping for the house sounds like fun. BTW thanks on all the tips re school and baby.
Today: I usually love Fridays but today I am dreading having to do this school paper that I have not started that is due today! So that's gonna be my Friday night. Ugh!
But on a positive note, we get to see baby today.
We are doing our anatomical scan this afternoon after work and just praying that everything goes alright.
Saturday: picking up our crib from BRU. We got this one -
We're also starting the registry I think. DH might do some work on the basement since we need to set up a laundry room there by the time I hit 8 months so he better get cracking!
Sunday: church, wash my hair (my hair is a hot mess!), hopefully relax a bit and cook.
Have fun ladies!

Nothing too exciting today, just more unpacking and cleaning. Yippee!
Tomorrow, my ILs are coming over so that DH, FIL, and my uncle can work on the attic. Sasha's first swimming lesson at the new place is also tomorrow morning and I'm so excited! My parents are stopping by tomorrow at some point too.
Sunday, nothing planned yet, except for more unpacking. I'm going to try to drive out to where my new OB is (since I'm so new at driving and I want DH to help me out the first time). Probably go check out a local park or a playground.
Have a great weekend, ladies!
Bubblegum Explosion
It's been a pretty rough week over here too. I taught on Tues morning, had a paper due Tuesday night, an outline for a final due Wednesday...and just general school and exhaustion stuff.
Today: It's 8:15pm and i'm so ready for bed!! But i'm pushing thru. I'm working on one of my major school projects while drinking beer and eating pumpkin lasagna. Then DH and i are going to watch Fringe and then go to bed!!
Saturday: work from 9-5pm. I'm going to see a dance show at NYU tomorrow night, so i'll stay in the city to do some school stuff before hand.
Sunday: I work an open house from 1-2:30, then it's more working on my school stuff and studying for a certification exam on Tuesday! Oy...

Finally! A Married Bio!!
Anytime girl. There's so much that changes when a baby comes and you're still in school, you know? You can totally do it.
I love the crib you chose, very nice.
I hope your scan went well...
Nothing too exciting going on this weekend.
Yesterday: Went to a friends house for a play date with our LO's during the day and just hung with the baby and hubs at night.
Today: I have a surprise 50th b-day party to attend this afternoon and nothing going on tonight (DH works over nights).
Tomorrow: I have a meeting at work in the morning (working VERY part time...1 day a week practically...for seasonal help in a local store...I'm really there for the 40% discount lol). And the rest of my day is free.
Have a great weekend everyone!
P.S. Good luck with the Anatomy scan, Karllen!!
