Thankful Friday

I was going to do a Thankful Thursday, time got away from me.  So let's do a Thankful Friday.

What are you thankful for today?

Re: Thankful Friday

  • I am thankful for a husband who works extremely hard to provide for us, but still makes time to be home and spend time as a family.

I am thankful for my crazy munchkins who make me smile every day.

I am thankful for 2 sets of grandparents who love our kids and want to help us with them.

I am thankful Kolbe is feeling better, because his whiney tush was going to drive me bonkers yesterday :)

I am thankful for the best girlfriends I could ever ask for.

  • I am thankful that it's Friday.  And that's pretty much it.  I'm a super grump today so watch out.

Oh and I'm thankful that my manager is out today so I can freely surf the internet.

    thanks to jennied :)

  • I am thankful to the person who bought my coffee this morning and hope I made the day of the person behind me in the coffee house drive thru when I bought their coffee.

I am thankful for healthy and happy children.

I am thankful for a good job to let me provide for said children.

I am thankful for great friends and an awesome husband.

  • I'm thankful for my job, husband and to have a roof over our head.

I'm thankful for Saw's doctor for being swift to take action on his butt issue.  Looks like S may have a high bile-acid secretion in his stools causing his diaper rash issues and may be zinc deficient which can also cause the problem.  We are on new medication and I'm excited to see the rapid healing.

I'm excited/thankful to go full table foods with Saw and able to open up to more foods.  This weekend I'm going to offer him yogurt and eggs.  Plus while pureeing baby food wasn't hard, it will be easier to just take what we are having and cut it up for him.  With the reaction to cinnamon, I've been a little scared to introduce any more new foods.

I'm thankful for Saw.  Even on my bluest of days, I can pick him up from daycare, kiss him and his smile and giggle makes all my worries vanish.  He is such an easy, happy, go-lucky baby.

I'm thankful for my 2 stepkids.  While there are days I could pull my hair out, they are sweet kids and I couldn't imagine not having them in my life.

I'm thankful for my health.  We just found out another friend of ours was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer that has spread to her brain and spine.  It breaks my heart to hear this but happy our family does not have to go through that again.

Thankful for Friday!  Tomorrow, I decorate my house for the holiday and clean it for Thanksgiving dessert at our house!

  • I am thankful for my husband.  He is wonderful and does so much around the house.  He's a great dad, I couldn't ask for more!

I am thankful for my kid(s).  I can't wait for E to get home after daycare and come running in to give me a kiss and hug and tell me how much she missed me.  I am very thankful for a healthy, very active baby and can't wait to meet her.

I am thankful for my family.  We are all pretty close, and I love that we see each other all the time.  My mom adores E, and is always willing to make time for her.

I am thankful for my job, especially with this pregnancy.  I get to work half time now, then get 6-8 weeks after Isla is born, and it's all paid with full benefits.  This is such a big deal, and I'm thankful for it every morning when the alarm goes off.

I am thankful for Thanksgiving!  I have been craving the food for so long!  I'm wearing sweatpants to dinner, and eating as much as I want!  Mmmmmm! :)

  • I'm thankful for my husband, who works his butt off for us, and is such an amazing daddy. I love listening to him on the monitor when he wakes B up in the mornings because he forgets that the monitor is on and I can hear them.

I'm thankful for my baby boy. My favorite part of the day is picking him up from daycare and getting the biggest smile in the world. He is growing so much and so fast -- I love watching him learn new things!

I'm thankful for our families. They may drive us crazy, but we are lucky to have them.

I'm thankful for that crazy hail storm we had a couple months ago -- because of it, we're getting out of an insanely high van payment, and getting something that (a) is cheaper and (b) runs better even though it's older!

  • I'm thankful for this baby kicking and doing turns in my tummy. It definitely was a rough road getting here and no answers on why things happened they way they did but I don't even think back to those days anymore as I look ahead to what is to come and it makes me all giddy inside.

I'm thankful for an awesome husband who has been there for me through so much already and I can't imagine what the future holds!

I'm thankful for great parents, in-laws, and other family.

I"m thankful that I have a job that I am able to help support our household.

  • I am thankful for good health. My elbow has not been giving me near as much trouble as I expected with hauling around a chunky monkey all of the time. Cold Laser Therapy and Massage- FTW. :)

I am thankful for my Daycare Provider for C. She is wonderful with C. and he loves being there. She does a great job and puts my first time mother worrying mind at ease.

I am thankful for my students... new position is going well. Different but going well. They make me laugh everyday.

I am thankful for my baby boy. We waited so long and went through so much the first years of our marriage to get him. His laugh and smiles and noises make my day. He is starting to do so much. I do think he is advanced :) He is a very content little man. (Even though he is starting to teeth) I can't believe he is going to be 6 months old tomorrow.

I am thankful for my husband. He makes me so proud when he interacts with C. He is such a great dad. He takes good care of us. This weekend he is going to give up his man card and take me to Breaking Dawn :)

I am thankful that my mom lives 3 hours away. :)

  • Besides the obvious ones:

    - Heidi, for the amazing pics I know she took

    - Jamie, for being SUCH a great friend (and an awesome cook)!

    - Milk-producing boobs (I'm always amazed after pumping.  That's probably weird and maybe more of a confession, but whatev.)

    - Gatorade

    - Caffeine

    - Beer (I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack!)  ;)

  • I am thankful for:

Still being pregnant with this little guy, I never made it this far with the girls.

A spectacular husband who has really picked up most of the household stuff lately

My dad who, despite us having our many, many issues growing up, has become a great dad and grandpa for the girls.  I wish he didn't have to leave earlier this week.

Great friends who have offered to help in any way possible from driving Peyton to school to watching the girls, etc lately.
