I left my doctor's appointment today feeling completely positive and reassured.
I'm temping/OPK'ing for the next 3+ months. (However long we want to wait really...but he recommends 3 months.) He wants to track my chart for awhile. Since I got pregnant the second cycle off BCP and the first cycle we could after MC #1 he wants to make sure I ovulate when I should and that my cycles are regular.
He said he has looked at all my tests and sees no reason why we shouldn't be able to have a healthy baby, but he will monitor me continue to monitor me closely. He said he can check on a few hormone deficiencies by my temping (WHO KNEW?!).
He also told me he has seen more people have two miscarriages in a row as opposed to people who have only had one.
That made me feel SO MUCH BETTER!
Definitely got a keeper I think! ![]()

SO SO happy this Dr. is so great for you! That's great how positive he has been for you!
Do you want the rest of my OPKs? I have maybe 7 or so left that I won't be using.
That is great news! I am so, so happy for you! I think temping/charting will be great for you, I've noticed a lot of people with low progesterone and such have been able to discover it through their charts and the lengths of their leuteal phases. I learned so much from charting and really recommend it to everyone. One word of advice, the Target basal body thermometer apparently is no good, and I have the Walgreens one and it definitely has a few "favorite" temps that I always get. The "best" one according to most people is the Mabis brand one from Walmart, so I picked up one this cycle and I switched over. Good luck!!

Liz-Can I be Will Smith? Please please please!
Laura-That would be AMAZING!!
Yvonne-Thanks for the recommendation! I was going to pick one up today. The dr said with almost every female cousin on my mom's side having luteal phase deficiency (He called it some huge fancy word...basically meaning progesterone deficiency.) it's important for me to temp for awhile to see if I may have that.
Crystal-I completely agree! hahaha
Thanks everyone for all your support. Love you girls! xoxo
In true Texas fashion...
judging from this post you've had a bad string of doctors. I'm happy for you that you have found a good one.
