1. I'm excited to say I've finished a couple of things:

2. Another hat for my friend, a cabled cape for my mom that's been sitting 90% finished forever, and a sweater for DD
3. I just got some yarn from 3 Irish Girls in the mail today. I forgot all about it, and I can't wait to knit it up. I'm somewhat ashamed to say it, but I used to a big Twilight fan, and the colorway is called Alice, my favorite Twilight character
4. *sigh* Driving several hours to spend TG with DH's wacky extended family. I will be forced to hear discussion of the Penn State scandal, buy a gift for a college graduation, be stuck in a sales pitch, and I believe multiple people will ask us when we're adopting again. Oh, and MIL won't notice that her only son has lost almost 60 lb. Thanks for letting me vent
5. My little girl is becoming so grown up, and I'm loving everything new that she does. While she was a great baby, I'm really enjoying watching her grow up.

4. What are your Thanksgiving plans?
Thanksgiving is going to happen on friday this year with my family, at my Mom's! Last year I hosted all 35 of us. This year I have a belly pass. All I'm doing is making some pie.

I like being super pregnant in the winter. I'm warm, my feet haven't swollen at all and I'm round like Santa! :P
1. What have you finished lately? curtains for a client
2. WIPs/In the queue: I want to make some exercise pants and tops, but I should work on some dyeing for Christmas presents.
3. CR rants/raves/etc. I am so sad that my Bernina store closed. My machine has needed servicing for some time, and I actually broke it when I was making Halloween costumes. The nearest service center is too far away and DH has been traveling too much to take to the place near his work. We used my partner's machine to make the curtains, but hers is due for servicing soon too, so we really need to find someplace closer.
4. What are your Thanksgiving plans? Hang out and relax with just DH, and meet oldest daughter and her family at Disneyland two days after t-day.

I want the craft room fairy to come and collect all of my craft and sewing crap from all over the house and garage and organize it...and to get all of the non craft related stuff out of my studio. I have tried, but life keeps getting in the way and now it is a zillion times worse and is overwhelming. I managed to get a really nice start on the fabric, and on a lot of the trims and notions, but I really need to just find it all so that I can deal with it, and hopefully purge.
1. What have you finished lately? My Lowry Pullover. Although I decided I"m going to have to rip out the sleeves, so I suppose it's only half-finished. Bah.
2. WIPs/In the queue: Almost done with DH's Christmas sweater, then I need to get going on my elfster gift and about a million other Christmas projects. This sweater should free up some crafting time, though.
3. CR rants/raves/etc. I'm kind of PO'd about the sweater I just finished for me. If I'd read the notes on Ravelry, I would know that everyone else had had trouble with the sleeve sizing. Learned my lesson, I suppose. Check other people's notes!!
4. What are your Thanksgiving plans? My parents' turn this year! They're local, so we're just going to go over to their place for a low-key dinner.

3. CR rants/raves/etc. I hate that I have no fabric stores close to me. I have to drive 35-60 minutes to get to one. Walmart is OK for something basic - but even that is 25 minutes away.

I'm going to a crop night tomorrow and they're giving away a Cricut. I have one, but I'd love to upgrade (I just have the personal now). There are less than 15 people at the crop so a 1 in 15 chance isn't too bad, right?

Recovery from this delivery has been super difficult. I had an easy recovery with DD#1 so I think that is why this time seems so hard. I just want to feel more like myself again.

3. CR rants/raves/etc. Sort of CR- we got 2 $25 Amex GCs from the Fedex FB giveaway a few weeks ago. They're in honor of "Small Business Day" and are supposed to be spent on small businesses. Awesome, right? But, Paypal can't verify them (there's no address attached to them), so 99% of the online small businesses I want to shop (including all of Etsy) are apparently off-limits.

4. What are your Thanksgiving plans? We hosted last year. We had some crashers. It was weird. We're taking this year off- maybe we'll head to Disney or something.

1. What have you finished lately? Nothing crafty at all. Like, seriously. I've been busting my butt freezer cooking so that I have food in the freezer for 2-3 weeks solid during the painting/mini-remodel before we move into the house. I did 12 freezer meals in just 3 hours today alone, and I'm done. I have 30 meals in the freezer, that should cover us!
2. WIPs/In the queue: Too many to count. Three baby quilts to be done by Christmas, a SS gift (fairly easy, just need to sit down and do it). Oh, plus Lily's quilt that's been sitting for almost a year, the master bedroom quilt that has been sitting for longer, and several other small projects. Oh, and I'm moving in 2-3 weeks.
3. CR rants/raves/etc.: I can't freaking wait to have my own sewing room. I also can't wait to have a design wall!
4. What are your Thanksgiving plans? We go to my parents' every year (because my ILs can't cook and don't really get into celebrating for it, my family does), so we will be closing on our house the day before Thanksgiving, then heading to my parents' for the weekend. Massive amount of weight gaining on Thursday (well, and through the weekend), and Black Friday shopping (we are boycotting the stores that open at midnight, though, so we probably won't do as much as usual). Coming home Saturday and leaving DD with my parents until Wednesday so I can paint in peace.

1. What have you finished lately?
Nothing - bahahaha - although I have finally (I think) gotten the hang of cutting vinyl and this will lead to several finished projects. The one I am working on now which is about half finished is a simple collage frame for SIL that I am cutting out vinyl words like "Love" and "Family." The words are done and look awesome, I just need to find a good flourish SVG file and I cannot find one I like. Sigh...
2. WIPs/In the queue:
Elfster ornament is halfway done, ornaments for nephew and SIL, fleece blanket for DH...those are xmas related. Otherwise I have too much to even list here! Curtain hemming, pant hemming, adding darts to ill-fitting dress shirts that I otherwise loved, making seat cushions for our breakfast nook, making a wall cutout for above the bed that says "Always Kiss Me Goodnight," but DH needs to finish painting the bedroom first so that's not a priority.

Cutting vinyl is a PIA! I have wasted entirely too much of it.

We are hosting but we delegated dishes for everyone to be responsible for so it is more like a potluck. Otherwise it is so much work! Just gotta get to cleaning the house...

3. CR rants/raves/etc. I am so unfocused that I can't get motivated. When I begin something, everything goes wrong and I waste time. I've lost about 6 solid days lately.

My daughter has a yearly command performance at her MIL's, my mother goes to my sister's, and my son has been tied up with work (he works with adults with developemental disabilities which means no holidays off) so 4 years ago, I decided to have "Thanksgiven" on Friday. I have all of my family and friends for open house buffet. I am expecting about 40 this year!

I have been awake for 21 hours; woke up with wicked headache at 3 and never went back to sleep so I got up at 6 and haven't stopped yet! I am going to bed NOW!

I'm ready to hold and snuggle with this baby but I could really use some more work time before it decides to come. I also hate that my concentration level lately is zero as is my ability to multitask, so I have way to many WIP's going on around the house including a set of Thank you's that would be written by now if I had the concentration to figure out what I want to say and the ability to sit still for a while without falling asleep.
