Since no one else ever volunteered any ideas, I had to come up with something on my own. ![]()
I ended up making a "winter" themed gift bag and included:
slipper socks (Target- $5)
gloves (Target- $2)
Starbucks $10 gift card with "Thanks a 'latte'" tag
Starbucks sparkly cup sleeve ($4)
Philosophy 3-in-1 bath stuff (I bought a gift set of 3 for $25 and then split it up)
For my mom (who footed a lot of the bill, I also included another small Philosophy item (travel size Hope in a Jar) and a Copco Tumbler because last time we were at JoAnn's she mentioned wanting one.
My other idea was a Pandora/Chamila bead because each of them have a bracelet... but then I wasn't sure which beads 2 of them had and the prices have gone up a lot! So, anyway I spent about $30 per person but I'm really happy with how they
turned out, and I think my hosts will like them tomorrow! ![]()
Re: **MrsMiller** shower hostess gift f/u
I really didn't want to go the "bath stuff" route but I figured Philosophy stuff is different than B&BW... and as far as I know, none of my hosts have any. So, hopefully they'll like it!
Pregnancy-wise, I feel okay. I had a really long day yesterday taking N to the doctor and shopping so I could barely move last night. That was such an eye-opener for me... I told DH I wasn't sure how in the world I'm actually going to move in 10 more weeks!
The worst part for me right now is the charlie horses. Except unlike CH's I've had in the past, these are my entire leg from the knee down... it's terrible. Are you getting them at all? I never did with Nolan so this is crazy.
How are you feeling??
And yes, I am excited for the shower. I think we're expecting about 20 people so nothing huge... but still really sweet of them to do. I expect to come home with a decent amount of pink clothes, seeing as not much has been purchased from our registry which has mostly necessities.
Oh well!

Oh yes the Charlie Horses! I started getting them at night maybe a month or so ago - they are NOT fun! I've tried to increase my stretching in general, which seems to help. The first couple woke me up in the middle of the night, now it's mostly when I stretch in bed in the morning.
I think the day you had yesterday was like my Friday last week. I had a whole bunch of errands to run (looking at day care, haircut, BRU, BuyBuyBaby etc.) and come home totally wiped! I fell asleep on the couch at 9:30 or so.
Right now I'm dealing with the battle of the nosebleed, and winter weather is not helping! I was so stuffed up this morning, so I blew my nose and released a geyser - ugh!
And I'm not surprised people are buying pink clothes! That's one of the best parts
Hopefully they don't leave you with a ton of necessities to buy!!
Knock on wood... neither time so far have I dealt with the nosebleeds. Good thing too cause I don't even know what you're supposed to do "these days." It used to be head tilted back... now it's forward, right? lol. Hope it clears up for you soon- I imagine that's just not fun.
I'm definitely going to up the stretching during the day because it's miserable!
