IHO Kendra's Holiday Pictures Post...
How did your's go this year??
Mine- disaster! Last Saturday J slammed his forehead while out with DH stacking wood. I had been putting Neosporin on it all week, it was almost gone AND he slept over ILs on Thursday night. I picked him up yesterday morning and BAM I look at him and he has a giant bump and cut on the top of his nose between eyebrows. I am emotional at this point because I have been fighting with the pediatrician all morning and yanked my kids from the practice.
I load them in car, pick up my mom and head to mall. I load them both into stroller and NO CLOTHES!! I left the bag of outfits AT HOME! M-fer, I walked into JCP crying. They were great they gave me an appointment during their lunch breaks, I left my mom with kids and flew home for clothes, thankfully DH met me 1 exit from our house and I turned around quick.
J wanted NOTHING to do with his sister but hit her or "hug" aka choke her. Her pictures were great, I did 3month ones too.
Santa Clause pictures were cute. He gave him a high-five, he would not sit with him, ONLY with Mrs. Clause... he has a thing for old ladies with grey hair, it is really funny and started last year at pictures. Now any old lady he sees gets a hug.
Ugh! Hope everyones came out better.

If I didn't have so many shutterfly codes I would have waited.. but usually my cards are out by the 1st week of December- we have to send over 70 and I try to include messages on all of them.
Oh and for his head, my mom took him to Sephora and he got a "make over" with conclearer, powder and stuff- well he took that off on mid photo shoot.
I don't think I'm going to even attempt Holiday pro pics this year....A is going to be soooooo difficult, I know it. But I'm still considering it. I have Sears coupon, so if it doesn't go well it will just cost me a stressful hour or so and $10.
If I don't do them I'll just try to snap some pics of her here at home for our Christmas Cards this year.
I still have no idea what to use for holiday pics this year. I have a few cute shots from the fall, taken outside and wearing a red plaid jacket so, they could work. I also have a JCP living social deal that I can use but I am fairly certain he won't cooperate. Bah... In any case, I need to get my act together soon!

last year I jsut had them snap a photo at the winter wonderland thing we went to but def not christmas card worthy shots.

We actually got a good family one too even though my dh got beat up at his jiu jitsu class. JCP in Pok was a nightmare though, but I always get good photos w/their photographers. The other helpers weren't running the show too well. They were running way behind and the place was like 100 degrees. So many poor kids all decked out in their Christmas best having melt downs left and right. Thanks again for the Groupon link on FB Navy. They eventually figured out how to enter in their system after about a half hr, but it worked and we saved a ton!

murr - adorable and great pictures!! My JCP gave me the whole cd from shoot for 100 because of groupon. I also got a $50 credit for next time since I spent 125$.
