Re: Breaking Dawn

I've talked to MO, anyone else see it and laugh through the entire thing?  Awful!

Re: Re: Breaking Dawn

  • I was seriously laughing until I cried during the wolves alpha scene.

  • Hahaha!  They definitely aimed it for the teenagers when they made it, and on one hand, I get it, because that's their crowd, but that's definitely not how the content in the book was written.  Boo!

Really? I thought the Twilight books were YA?

Yeah, I thought their demographic was 14 year old girls.

  • I was GIDDY to see it, and I laughed too. It was awful. Parts of it were ok, the rest sucked. I really do think the next one will be ok, but it would've been so much better as a rated R movie actually telling the story better. All in all, very disappointed.

  • I'm in the minority but I really liked it. It was better than the other movies and for once K Stew's acting wasn't awful.

  • I actually went to the theater and saw it yesterday. I too thought it was bad, especially the scene with the wolfs talking. The rest of the movie was just okay. I think this movie would have been better if they had picked a different actress to play "Bella." Kristen Stewart's acting is just horrible. She shows no real emotion and her expression looks the same throughout the movie.

Eh, I probably wouldn't be comfortable with my fourteen year old reading some of the stuff in them... (If I had a fourteen year old.)  I guess we're in a different time and I'm a little more conservative.  The first three books were fine, I just thought the last one was a bit more mature content wise.
