At least she stopped short of comparing it to beastiality. But barely. This "how do you draw the line" argument is so overplayed -- and illogical. Not to mention hugely insulting.

Oh, another gay marriage post by adamwife using mildly relevant comparisons and faulty logic, what a surprise.
I responded. It's interesting because her question sounds like something I would have been asked in my first year of law school - "explain to me the legal distinction between X and Y. Why should X get rights that Y doesn't?"
From a purely legal perspective, I actually don't think her question is a terrible one. The law is all about distinctions and the question should always be asked. However, it doesn't require much depth of legal knowledge at all to be able to answer it, so I am surprised that someone who is so vested in her beliefs, as she seems to be, doesn't know the answer(s).
I responded. I DO like that shes off the religious angle, but sadly shes just as dumb about the law.
