I have 2 big dogs (border collie mix and german shepherd) and they usually end up with dry skin around this time of year and scratch a little more than normal. Well we noticed that they were scratching a little extra today so DH checked them out and found a few fleas!
Are there any more natural remedies. All of the flea shampoos I checked out are full of chemicals.
Re: ACK Fleas!
Wash them in dawn dish soap, sprinkle table salt in your carpets and leave it there for a couple days, vaccume and repeat. the fleas eat the salt n it kills them, also vaccuming alot and changing the bag or canister is a key factor in getting ride of fleas, boric acid is also a good flea killer but u wanna put it under sofas and somewhere kids and pets wont get into it, like behind couches or beds entertainment centers, etc. all else fails bomb the house with black flag bombs for fleas.
