Ornament Exchange
Someone asked me on Elfster if there was anything I didnt like on my tree and I cant seem to log on to answer so Ill answer here.
I dont like anything gold or cartoons. Otherwise we have a random assortment of stuff.

1. Favorite part of Christmas? This is going to sound way more saintly than I am but I really love Christmas season at church. I also love that it's a season where more people do good deeds for others, like the food drives or the angel trees for the kids. Makes me feel a little better about the world we live in.
2. Color scheme of your tree. Don't really have one. I like white lights and then a most of our ornaments are warm earthy tones with a few random silvers, purples, blues....
3. Favorite Holiday Movie National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Second fave is The Grinch

5. What did you ask Santa for this year? Nothing yet. I think I will be asking for some new stud earrings as the danglies are really working with a 6 month old that likes to grab pretty shiny things.

1. Favorite part of Christmas? - Getting presents (b/c I'm still a kid!!!) and being with family that we never have enough time to see regularly.
2. Color scheme of your tree. - None. We do use white lights instead of colored lights.

4. Tree: Real or Artificial? - Artificial. It's a lot easier while we're in our small apartment.
5. What did you ask Santa for this year? - A few things... Digitcal Camera, new iPhone, a new bag, pj's from LL BEAN. We'll see if I actually get some of those things though. Probably not, and that's OK!
1. Favorite part of Christmas? Family time, definitely. I also love that cozy feeling of snuggeling with H on the couch with the snow falling outside and the only lights in the house coming from the tree. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy just talking about it, lol.
2. Color scheme of your tree. None, our tree is a hodge podge of random ornaments. I like it.
3. Favorite Holiday Movie? The cartoon version of The Grinch.
4. Tree: Real or Artificial? Usually it's fake but we're going real this year. So excited to cut down our own tree!
5. What did you ask Santa for this year? A Kindle or Nook or something similar.

4. Tree: Real or Artificial? I prefer a real tree, but haven't had one in YEARS. The crazy cat climbs in the fake tree and I really don't want him to do that to a real one and spill water all over.
5. What did you ask Santa for this year? Nothing in particular. I keep buying everything I want so I can't think of anything. First world problems, I know.

2. Color scheme of your tree. We alternate colors every year... this year I think we'll do red, white and silver. We put all of our other ornaments on a small tree in our room.

4. Tree: Real or Artificial? The past few years a real one and we have a small artificial one we put up in the bedroom.
5. What did you ask Santa for this year? Nothing so far. I think we are going to put hardwood down in 2 of our bedrooms so that is kind of a gift to us both.
1. Favorite part of Christmas? just the spirit of the season. i used to love love love singing silent night by candlelight in church on christmas eve and watching the snow come down outside. we don't get white christmases here typically
but i still love the music and church and decorating and family time. and food. 
2. Color scheme of your tree. No color scheme. we have a lot of red (probably too much) and the rests are ornaments we've acquired over the last few years.

5. What did you ask Santa for this year? nothing, really. dh and i are just doing stockings for eachother...if my parents ask i'll have to stop and think of something. maybe a kindle cover, or some gift cards.

3. Favorite Holiday Movie You're seriously asking me to pick just one? haha It's Christmas Vacation hands down but I looove all. In fact I just found out Uverse doesn't have the Hallmark channel because of a dispute and it was supposed to be back and it's not and I'm devestated..now all I have is ABC Family boo
4. Tree: Real or Artificial? Normally real but we'll do artificial for a couple years until the girls won't mess with the tree
5. What did you ask Santa for this year? I haven't yet but I think more xmas movies, a pedicure, and a haircut most likely.
1. Favorite part of Christmas? I love driving around and looking at the lights. Also B gets very sentimental and almost romantic this time of year.
2. Color scheme of your tree. Our main tree had white lights, blue, green and red balls, gold garland and gold bows. Then all of our ornaments we have collected over the years. Then I have a small (3ft) black tree that has purple light, purple garand and all of B's Ravens ornaments. Eventually when we get a bigger house and we have the room I want a white tree that I can do up all pink and girly like.

4. Tree: Real or Artificial? Pre lit Artificial. We did a real one the first Christmas we were together and it was such a mess we bought an artificial one the next year. Plus the cat messes with the artificial tree as it is. I can't imagine what she would do to a real one.
5. What did you ask Santa for this year? A new crock pot, a kureg coffee machine, a curling wand and I've dropped lots of hints about a DSLR camera but haven't actually asked for one.
