Geez, finally.
I've actually had a headache for the most of the day, so I haven't done much other than lay on the couch all day.
Man, that was ridiculous!!
Dh and I were in bed by 9:30 last night so we were up pretty early this morning. In fact, dh woke me up just as he finished cooking breakfast. That never happens. We lounged around for a while after breakfast and then went to our country club. Dh played golf with his stepdad, my dad, and a family friend. MIL and I hung out inside the club watching football.
Now, I'm exhausted and just hanging out on the couch. I will probably be asleep shortly.
Hello! I've had a relatively productive weekend so far. 6 miles each on Saturday and Sunday mornings, 5 loads of laundry, and a couple of errands (Yay new running shoes!). Currently I'm putting together a packing list for our Thanksgiving trip and hanging out in the kitchen with Paul, who is brewing his 4th batch of beer. That will make it 20 gallons of beer in our house, in various stages of fermentation. Lucky me! (I think - hopefully it's good. None of it is finished yet, so we haven't tried any!).
Yesterday was a baby shower for my 24yo cousin who is going to be a single mom. It was awesome to see everyone supporting her. She had about 15 HS friends even come to her shower! We had dinner with a bunch of extended relatives.
Today we went shopping at the outlet mall near where the shower was. I got a few shirts, a pair of jeans, a comfy sweats outfit (probably won't wear together but my mom thought it was "too cute"), and a pair of Clarks Privos. Only spend about $200 so I felt like I got some good deals. Now I'm home working on homework and going to take a quiz that is due at midnight.
I had a perfect Sunday....right up until DH went to Church and came home a total grump. Sometimes something just sets him off and I have no idea what it is. But, he's been an ass this evening. Blah.
We got up together before Jane (never happens) and just hung in bed cuddling and chatting (hasn't happened since Janie!) J took a morning nap so DH got to do stuff he wanted/needed and I left to run errands, I got home, we went out to lunch at my cousin's restaurant and ran into a bunch of family and caught up and then went to the park and then home for an afternoon nap, etc. Pretty great.
Went to see Breaking Dawn this morning...AMAZING!!!
After the movie I got a call that my Grandmother passed away!
Our enitre house is in a mood today. I think I may adopt a new family.....
Needless to say I'm still in the PJ's I woke up in this AM, and I intend on going back to bed in them in a few minutes.
We had a really long day... well, weekend really, and I'm pooped.
Friday I shopped/ran errands/took N to the dr and was gone 10am-7pm.
Saturday was my shower (very nice- lots of clothes!) and visiting DH's out of town family.
Today I had breakfast with my bff, luckily got to take a nap, then went back to DH's parents for more visiting with his family.
I am swollen, hot, tired, still sick, and most of all- ready to collapse on the couch! Luckily, it's N's bedtime... so that might get to happen soon.

Yesterday I had a raging headache. One of DH's friends came over and we all three just hung out...aside from bootcamp in the morning I was kind of useless yesterday because I was tired.
Today we went to Old Navy for the sweater sale, then to my parents' to do some work. Now I'm just waiting for Dexter to come on.

Our weekend started out quite fabulously when Iowa State beat Oklahoma State!!! We were freaking out!
My parents came to town on Saturday so we spent the day and nigth with them. They got a hotel room for them and us so we chilled at the hotel and went swimming. Everything was awesome until Neena's bedtime. She refused to go to sleep so we put her in her pack 'n play and we were going to let her cry. Little stinker got out of her pack 'n play! So, she ended up sleeping with me all night so I got horrible sleep, therefore I was a cranky ass biotch today.
Went to a friend's Norwex part this afternoon. I'm totally sold. I want everything!
