I'm sorry this is so late! I'm swamped at work trying to tie up loose ends, especially since my boss hasn't even thought about replacing me yet (even though I told him this was happening more than a month ago). I hope you can still get your deal!
The James is in a great location. It's very close to both downtown and Michigan Avenue so you'll be able to walk to lots of stuff (but it will be freezing!) It's also in an area with a ton of cabs, so getting one shouldn't be a problem. It's also supposed to be super nice and very chic. There are a lot of restaurant options there, and you'll be centrally located to head to other cool areas by cab or public transit. Let me know if you decide to head up here and if you have other questions!
