Since it'll be just me and H this year for Thanksgiving, we've decided to go out. Any suggestions for a place to get a nice, maybe fancy dinner?
Re: Thanksgiving
I can't remember exactly where you're located, but I know Art Restaurant at the Four Seasons in Seattle (1st and Union) is open for Thanksgiving and they're providing complimentary valet parking, and they're doing a special four-course Thanksgiving menu for like, $75 a person (viewable on their website - the food there is amazing).
In the past, I know the following restaurants have done Thanksgiving meals:
-Barking Frog in Woodinville (around $100 a person I think)
-Daniel's Broiler & Chandler's Crabhouse
-The Georgian at the Fairmont Olympic (around $100 a person IIRC)
-Six Seven at the Edgewater
Those are the nice "fancy" places that I know are either open on Thanksgiving or have been in the past. You could call them to see if they have special menus or pricing and then see who has availability. HTH!
Here's an article with a listing

My vote would go to aqua, barking frog, Georgian
Are you thinking of Calcutta grill at Newcastle golf course (on one of the Newport hills)?
They're doing a Thanksgiving Buffet. The info is on the dining page.
The food is pretty tasty there.
