Did anyone see Dr Phil yesterday?

"marriage meltdown" was couples trying to save their marriages.  Holy tranwreck, Batman!

Re: Did anyone see Dr Phil yesterday?

  • I watched some of it.  It pissed me off that he let the women watch what the men were saying without telling the men.  Doesn't seem like a good way to build trust, but it does make for "good" tv.
  • Dr Phil has changed IMO, and not for the better, ever since he started producing it himself and dropped Harpo.

  • Yes and I can't get over why they are trying to work things out...I feel like so much was said and done that can't be undone...YIKES!!!!  I cannot imagine exchanging words like that with DH.

  • I don't like Dr. Phil anymore.  His shows remind me of the "old days" when talk shows were all about shock value.
  • I remember when Phil used to be helpful, I think its when Harpo owned the show though...now it just reminds me of Jerry Springer on a nicer set.

However they get their ratings right?

On a side note, The OWN network is broadcasting repeats of the old Dr. Phil episodes.
