Thanksgiving timing help

We are a slave to Evie's nap. Especially now when she is recovering for a 3+ week going ear infection.

Thanksgiving is being held at 2pm. That is when Evie usually wakes up from her nap (only one nap a day). She loves her schedule, and does best sticking to it. Yesterday, she slept for 3 hours at nap time, talk about recovering from being sick.

I can hope her ear infection will go away. She will have been on omnicef for 6 days, so hopefully will be away.

So we can tell them we will be late and leave the house when we leave the house. Wake her up from her nap early and just move her to the car since it is a 30 minute drive. Try to put her down early so that she will sleep well and be up and awake.

If it was just a few people, I would not mind. But 20+ people, unfamiliar house. Then add in a cranky kid who didn't get her nap is just making for a fun time.

I know this is something little to be asking for help with. Was talking to DH about it and he was like whatever you want. We are not telling them it is her nap time till the day of and then we will let them know if she goes down early / late.

Thank You Girls
