What day did we decide on? I think it may have been 12/8, but I have a cookie exchange that day unfortunately. I can do almost any other week day in early December I think. What about Wednesday 12/9 or Monday 12/12?
Here are the choices:
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer
Seed
Before I Go to Sleep
Re: December Book Club
I vote for Seed! With Before I Go to Sleep a close 2nd.
Any weekday before teh 19th should work for me
Seed.
Tuesdays are the only day not good for me.
I vote for The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer with Seed a close second.
Any weeknight works for me in general.
All of these books just scream Christmas... lol.
I think I'll vote The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer... so that looks like LB has to be the tie breaker unless someone else votes??
I'm open to any day.
Sikes - we decided that we all really love book club and don't want to skip a month since it's been so awesome, so we're just doing it earlier in the month and then the holiday gtg will be a separate board thing since our book club group has gotten pretty small.
Ugh, so much pressure! I'm going with Seed. I didn't realize the first one was YA.
Let's do it on 12/12 if that works for you guys.
After Cupid Wars, I'm in total agreement with no YA for now
Date sounds good with me!
We can do that. I didn't know if you guys wanted to have more choices.
I'm fine with it! I think that was what came in 2nd place for last book club, so at least a few of us wanted to read it then!
ETA: Ok, just put a hold and I'm in position 36. I'd hate for us all to have to buy the book, so maybe LB can do another poll with some easily accessible by library books?
I think it would be very limiting to find a book that has five or more copies available at the library with no wait, no?
That's probably true. I think the same thing happened with Cupid Wars, I'm a little salty I purchased that crap, lol.
Books are not that expensive on Amazon. I have no problem buying a copy then letting someone else borrow it.
