May I whine for just a second?

I started a 24-day health challenge (this means cutting all simple carbs, sweets, most dairy, etc) the same week aunt flo will be visiting. I'm only on day 2 - shoot me now.

  • Thanks for the encouragement ladies! It's just going to be H and me for Thanksgiving this year, so we'll be going out for a nice dinner. As long as what I choose fits within the criteria, it won't be that bad. I'm really serious about losing this weight, and when my mom was here and for about a week after, I let my healthy choices go out the window, so I don't really trust myself to "let go" for a day, lol.

  • I cut carbs to lose all of my weight, and it rocked.

    One piece of advice: it will get much much easier on day 4-5. Just stick with it, and know that the cravings will subside. Day 2 is the absolute worst.
