  • We're going to my brothers. I'm bringing green bean casserole & a dessert (probably chocolate fruit cake). We're also having mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, cranberry relish & lots of snacks!

  • Oh how cute!  I think our family is bringing the traditional stuff: green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole (my favorite), cheesy potatoes, rolls, stuffing, and a pumpkin pie.  Yum!

  • FUN!

We'll be having dinner at 2 separate places, so I'm not cooking but am probably going to make pumpkin cheesecake to take to both.  Mmmmm.

  • We're traveling to the in-laws, and were asked to bring wine.  Works for me!

Typically on the menu is stuffing, potatoes, some sort of vegetable, rolls, dessert.  Nothing too original.

  • For my family, I am bringing the cranberries and salted caramel brownies.

For my In-Laws, I am bringing snowy glaze apple squares.

  • We're having early Thanksgiving at SIL's tomorrow.  I'm bringing pumpkin pie.

Then we're having two Thanksgivings on Thursday.  I'm not bringing anything to either, but I'll help my mom cook.  My inlaws don't allow me to do anything -- bring anything, help cook, nothing.

I'm not sure what's on the menus for any of these, but I expect it to be the traditional feast at all of them.

  • Ha, that is really cute!

I am hosting and will be serving: Stuffing, mashed taters, cranberry compote, gravy, green bean casserole (from scratch, my personal favorite), and a sweet tater casserole (no marshmellows here), rolls (store bought) and 2 pies (pumpkin and Michigan 4 berry)

Now if only baby James allows me the cooking time :)

  • Who knows? I just show up.

Heehee, but seriously, I think XN is making mashed potatoes because he always does. (Our company gives us turkeys every year for Christmas, so we always contribute those as well, but my dad cooks them at their place.) And my aunt makes a great corn casserole. Other than that...who knows.

  • I'm hosting and making everything but the green bean casserole.

Homemade stuffing, mashed potatoes, cream style corn, gravy, rolls (store bought), and canned cranberries.

We'll also have spinach dip and crackers and some chicken puffs I found on Pinterest as appetizers during the Lions game.

Dessert is frozen pies.  Gotten give myself a break somewhere.

  • We'll be celebrating with L's family.  There will be lots of Caribbean food on the menu--breadfruit, rice etc.

There will also be the regular Thanksgiving staples.  We're not bringing anything.  I feel kind of bad, but am definitely not in a state where I could prepare.

While I'm so excited to see his family--I will miss my family's dinner, too.
