I'm the official hostess this year for Thanksgiving - I'm so excited!!

What in God's name should I wear? Does anyone else dress up for the holidays?

Re: hostess with the mostest!

  • I am really trying to decide this as well!!! I am hosting for everyone in my family, and they are all going to my dad's side during the day, then coming to my house for a big Thanksgiving supper. So, I think most of them will be in some nicer stuff. I might do a sweater dress and leggings because I do that all the time anyway. Not sure though...It is also getting Jeff out of his pjs on a day off...hmph...

  • Winksomething with stretch

  • I'm wearing leggings and a sweater dress and pumps! Will also be sporting my "Queen of the Kitchen" Apron
  • I'm hosting too, though its just me, DH, and 2 friends but I was wondering what to wear too!  I like Allison's idea, something with stretch :)

  • I agree with stretch capabilities...cause nothing is hotter than a hostess with her pants unbuttoned! Hahahah!

  • Haha I usually do leggings too.  :)  Although I just bought a new sweater so I may break down and wear jeans today...lucky for me I've lost a couple inches so my jeans are big.  :)

Not hosting though....goin' to muh momma's house!!!

  • LOL I don't dress up normally we are a super casual type of family. I'll probably wear my black "comfy pants" which have a drawstring, fitted through the leg and boot cut, with slippers and one of my lighter sweaters since I typically get roasty toasty running around cooking.
