Christmas in America artificial trees- Newburgh,NY
Have any of you been there? Do any of you have a tree made there?
I have always had a real tree but am thinking a really nice artificial one would be nice. Trying to decide!!!
Any input you have would be appreciated!
Re: Christmas in America artificial trees- Newburgh,NY
i walked in there once and was floored buy the pricing. then again at the time i was strictly a real tree person.
you'd have to check it out yourself.
i am happy with the $50 faux tree i bought last year two weeks before christmas at target, which was marked down from 249.
my parents bought their artifical tree from them a few years ago, they went a few days after xmas where everything was marked down and got a really nice tree for a decent price. The tree does look real. People are always smelling it.
My DH is a real tree person so i'll never get the artifical tree which is sooo much easier IMO.
good point about going after christmas.
Chris - we were real tree people. last year it was mid december and j was so busy we never got to the tree farm to cut our tree. in a panic i got the real one with the scented ornaments and was happy with it. Actually looking forward to putting it up this weekend and not having to worry about watering it etc, especially with the hours we keep and the pellet stove.
I am so jealous!!! DH is like we are not getting a fake tree! He swears he smells the fabulous tree. I never smell a damn thing! I hate the needles!!! And I hate that i have to wait so long to put it up, *pouting*
We usually go to a local guy by us or the local Fire Dept, where the trees are precut. Since we are rarely home together he will usually pick it out and bring it home and then we'll find a night we are home together to decorate.
My sister has one that is about 12 feet tall. The price is high but they are much cheaper then they would be to buy from retail and they are so well made.
We didn't get our from them but from QVC and it's really nice.
