I'm back.....
First off thank you all for being concerned for the baby and myself and more concerned with the sex...haha just kidding
I was still having some contractions Thursday so I called to make an appointment..of course she doesn't see patients until the afternoon gah.
But I did get in sort of right away and she found the heartbeat on the doppler but we just talked for a good 10 minutes (H stayed with A in the waiting room) so I felt I could be honest. I think she was really going to put me on bed rest after the funeral but she asked how work was going and told her no stress and they were worried for me and she said that it maybe better just to go to work to be away from my MIL which I agreed...and she said if it gets hard that I should take A with me to a hotel for a night.
She did an internal and said I was good but then still set up an Ultrasound to double check...looking back I wonder if she was a little concerend but didn't want to say.
So off we went and the lady was just doing another internal boo and I said "aww man I was hoping to see the baby" so she said everything looked great cervix was nice and long and shut and I could see a hand moving around sometimes...she did show us the baby on the internal moving so that was good. (she was the same great tech I had the day Ava was born) and she whispered "do you want me to quickly do a belly even though I'm not supposed to" and I was like "YESSSS" haha
So she did a quick hearbeat since I still have my big scan on the 5th.
And it took a minute because the babies legs were closed but we did free up enough and even though I was only about 17 weeks we could tell.

So what is the MIL situation for now?
She's still at my house bleh but only until Saturday.
Since I'll be at work today thru Wednesday I can handle it.
Thanksgiving I'm hoping will be ok since I'm cooking all day but worried she'll have a cry fest.
Then Friday H wants her and my BIL to go with him tailgating and to the game since FIL HATED crowds and she hasn't been in so long. By the time the game gets over and they get home she'll have about an hour with Ava so not bad.
Fingers crossed the guest bed is going with them if it doesn't rain and right now it's a 50%...so please cross your fingers that it holds off and he can take the guest bed so she can't stay anymore haha
You know for the longest time I was thinking boy but a few days before the unexpected U/S I started feeling girl haha so it was not as surprising but I still wasn't mentally prepared for another girl but I'm excited.
H's best friend and his wife have two girls who are the same age difference that Ava and the new one will be and they're the best of friends plus there were a ton of clothes that Ava never got to wear and we can reuse her car seat since it's pink and diaper bag and all that so that will be nice.
