Birth Control/Pregnancy related... Opinions needed

I am on birth control and i usually take it at night time before i go to bed. Last month, i forgot to take it one night so i took it the next morning and then that night i forgot to take it and DH and i happened to do it that night and it was in the middle of my cycle. I never got my period so i tested and it was negative. Once i finished that pack of birth control i started a new kind of birth control. I took a few tests and they all came out negative. Now today, i'm having some soreness in my boobs and i'm having some cramping/pains in my lower abdomen. Also, the past couple of weeks i would wake up feeling nauseous (which is why i took some tests) and today was no different. Do you think it could just be my body getting used to the new birth control or do you think i should take another test? (its been about a week since i last tested).

Thanks in advance ladies!

  • I have never taken birth control, but it sounds like your body could be adjusting. If the tests are negative then I wouldn't worry, they are very accurate. I would keep taking them for awhile though.

This is what I was going to say.

  • I absolutely think it could be you adjusting. When I worked at the GYN office we told patients give it at least 3 months for your body to get back to normal. All of the symptoms sound totally normal to me with a bc switch.

  • I definitely get nauseous when switching BC.  I'm paranoid though, so I would probably POAS again just to be sure though.
