Had my ultrasound and they didn't see the sac they saw last week. Doctor said he is pretty convinced I am having an ectopic. I requested one more blood check to be done in case my numbers are decreasing and I just miscarried over the weekend. Doctor agreed to do it but doesn't think that is the case. When the blood results come back I will be going in tonight or in the morning to get the Methotrexate shot.
This will be a post and run.

I am so sorry to hear this. I have a random question though - if they saw a sac (in your uterus, I'm assuming) last week - - why does he now think it's ectopic (in your tubes?). Seems to me your thought (miscarriage since last u/s) makes more sense, no?
In any case, thinking of you and take care of yourself.
Oh yuck girl. I am so sorry to hear this!! I was praying for some better news this morning!

Excellent question. And another reason why she needs to see an RE because a methotrexate shot may not dissolve an ectopic. if her betas are still rising (even if they aren't doubling) she's @ risk of a tubal rupture since the ectopic could still be growing. This is how my sister almost lost a tube ~5 yrs ago.
Sarah: take care of yourself. I am so sorry you are experiencing this!
