West Michigan Co-op Peeps . . .
I have never been to a pickup before - how long does it normally take? I've heard it will be busy because of Thanksgiving. Does it normally start right on time? I have to be out on Alpine by 6:30 so I'm thinking I might be late.

Yes, it should open on time -- right at 5:45. It will not open early, however some people arrive early and wait in line for it to open.
If you come right at 5:45, you should be able to get to Alpine around 6:30 so long as you just pick up your stuff and head out. If you want to shop for extras, it will take longer to get through.
It's usually better to go later in the evening. The biggest surge of peple is in the first 45 minutes. So, just be prepared that it will be busy and crowded if you come at 5:45 this month. And, yeah, it will be extra busy because of Thanksgiving.
