Re: MMPP
Mon-Wed.... Work
Thursday... Host Thanksgiving for my DH's family. Its only 3 days away and BIL still can't tell us one way or the other if he and his 2 children will be here. So it will either be 5 people for Thanksgiving or 8.
Friday... Work
Really lame week for me haha except for Thursday.
I'm home sick today. I'm feeling kind of guilty about it because I was supposed to work today and tomorrow then have Wed off (to balance my hours from working the weekend). I'm still planning to take Wed off... so a 1 day work week. I know I shouldn't feel guilty because I have the sick time, and it's an easy week... buuuuut I'm just like that. ANYway, I'm have a Back to the Future marathon today along with lots of sleep and tea.
Tues - work if I'm better
Wed - I'm supposed to be off. Heading to my parents and making pumpkin pies.
Thurs - Chinese Thanksgiving followed by regular Thanksgiving (DH has a family friend who is Chinese and they have a big dinner at their restaurant. DH and all his friends always go)
Fri - No big plans, maybe having some friends over from out of town
Sat and Sunday - no big plans.
This is a big AW of me, but I have the whoooooole week off! I'm so psyched about it... I haven't had a day off (other than weekends, obviously) since we started school right after Labor Day. That's a long haul!
I'm hoping to get caught up on some classroom stuff, get some Christmas shopping in both before and after Thanksgiving.
We'll be spending Thanksgiving with DH's family and then going back up to Howell on Friday to watch the Fantasy of Lights Parade. I love the Fantasy of Lights!
Moday: work, then cleaning the house!
Tuesday: work, a little baking, maybe some more cookies, but definitely cornbread for othe stuffing on Thursday
Wednesday: Off work, cleaning, preparing the house for the IL's, a bit of baking, making sure everything is ready for Thursday and coming up with a gameplan for the next day.
Thursday: Thanksgiving! Cooking, eating, hanging out with the IL's! Then searching through the black friday adds to make a decision about Black Friday.
Friday: Shopping!!!! MIL loves Black Friday and so does DH, so it should be an interesting day. (Although, I have no idea what FIL is going to do... oh well!)

That is really frustrating!!! There is a big difference between cooking for 5 and cooking for 8! I'd be super annoyed!

I hope the rest and tea makes you feel better!!! It sucks being sick around the holidays!

Mon-Wed - work. I will leave work early on Wed and head to the spa for a facial and brow wax though. Looking forward to that! Thurs we are headed to my dad's for Thanksgiving. Friday we will have a friend over from oot and Sat we have a housewarming party to go to. I imagine Sunday will be for recovery.
I hope you feel better! Don't feel guilty. I'm sure your co-workers would rather you stay home than bring in the germs.
Thanks! DH doesn't get why I am so bothered by it. He also doesn't get it because of the fact that he does nothing to prep for Thanksgiving. I am not too terribly fond of my BIL to begin with so this just makes me more crazy.
Oh and Kzoo your week sounds pretty much perfect to me enjoy!
Enjoy that! A facial sounds so great right now.
Totally jealous! Enjoy the week. I hope you get a bunch of stuff done and you get to relax as well!
M-W - Work, the shortest weeks are always the longest week at my company...
Thanksgiving we will spend with my IL's..
Friday- I will be packing up the car and we are heading up north!!
Mon-Wed: Work and last minute shopping for Turkey Day supplies.
Thurs: Get stuffing made for Fri and eat at ILs (ugh)
Fri: Make Turkey and eat at my house (yum
)
Sat/Sun: Relax and eat leftovers.
I need to do some grocery shopping today and I'm going to attempt to take both of the girls. We'll see how this goes.
I also need to go to the dollar store and get some random things for Emma's birthday party on Saturday.
Other than just those couple errands, I plan on cleaning up the house and hopefully getting some Christmas stuff out.
Good luck!!!

Monday-Wednesday: Work.
Thursday: FI and I will head to my mom's house on Thursday morning for Thankgiving.
Friday: Black Friday shopping with my mom and sister. Nothing too crazy. We usually get up around 6 a.m. then head to the mall in Grand Rapids. We might hit Walmart later in the day (around lunchtime) for wrapping paper, etc. But that place is KRAZY, so we go later to avoid the bulk of the madness. FI and I will come home Friday night.
Saturday and Sunday: I have no idea. Probably recovering from the holiday.
Ive lived in Howell for a couple of years and have never gone. How is it? Are there a lot of people?
Mon to Wed - working long days to make up for the short work week
Wed night we will head to DH's moms house and stay the night there. We will have Thanksgiving dinner there around noon and then head to my parents house where we will have Thanksgiving #2 around 5.
Then Thursday at Midnight, my cousin, MIL and her sister will head out to do some Black Friday shopping. I suspect we will get home around 8am or so. Then MIL and her sister will leave. Cousin and I will take nap before heading out to GLC.
Sat and Sun are for relaxing and recovering.
Nothing exciting today or tomorrow, just laundry, grocery shopping, etc.
Wed: Probably heading into work to drop off my benefits package paperwork, and then take DH out to lunch. Also need to decide whether to make bread for thanksgiving dinner or just buy it.
Thurs: Stop by MIL's house for an hour or so before heading to my parents for turkey day.
Fri: Not much. Probably try to get some xmas decorations out.
Sat: Watch football, then a college friend who is back in town is coming over to meet DS.
At night a bunch of college friends are getting together for dinner & drinks. We'll be dropping DS off at my parents for a few hours. Not sure if I'm more excited or nervous about getting out of the house without the baby for a little while.
That is so frustrating. I hate it when people can't just make up their mind about that stuff. Either you're coming or not. Not that hard.
We've got a similar thing going on, although not as dramatic or nearly as annoying. My uncle's wife's mom lives around here and hasn't been doing so well (medically and mentally) and apparently some people have moved in with her claiming to be cousins - except my uncle's wife has no idea who these people are. So... my uncle and his wife may or may not make it to dinner on thursday because they may be in the process of kicking the free-loading scammers out of the mom's house and trying to figure out how to get her to agree to live in some sort of assisted living. So, we're looking at a dinner of either 10 or 12 adults.
Good luck! I finally feel (mostly) comfortable taking DS out to the grocery store. I can't imagine trying to wrangle a three year old as well!
Today: Had my mom's group this morning, we did yoga (my 1st time). Made a meal & dessert for Ritzy since I promised her 1 after she had Lily.
Tues: BSF
Wed: SIL & IL's come into town
Thurs: after dinner going to see the Muppet movie since we'll have babysitters to watch the kids!
Fri: taking DH out for his b-day which is actually this day
Sat: watching football (Mich/Ohio State), hopefully putting up my Christmas stuff since again I'll have people to watch the kids while I do it
Today we took Peyton to see Santa.
Work tomorrow.
Wednesday is DH's birthday so we will probably go out to dinner. PF Changs- blech for me but he loves it. In the morning/afternoon I am going bridesmaid dress shopping with my best friend. She is demanding I bring Peyton. We'll see how that goes. It will also be fun deciding what size to buy as I will have a 6ish week old baby on the day of her wedding.
Thursday- dinner at my parents house with my mom's side of the family.
Friday- work
Saturday- hopefully convincing DH to head to the Christmas tree lot to buy our tree.
My DH's b-day is Fri., popular week for b-days.
How was Santa? Did you do the one at Somerset? I was thinking of going next Mon. and doing that w/the kids.
