gotta change my cookie recipe....
I wanted to make raspberry cheesecake cookies. i cannot find raspberry chips. i forgot to get them at wegmans. of course the nasty walmart near my house does not have them. i am going to call giant and see if they have them. i really want to make these damn cookies
Re: gotta change my cookie recipe....
Those sound amazing!
I have never seen or heard of those chips.. but could you post the recipe of the cookies please?
Warning--it's a very complicated recipe and only the most skilled of bakers should attempt it.
1 packet of sugar cookie mix
1 8oz brick of softened cream cheese
1 egg
2/3 cup of raspberry chips (i ended up substituting a dollop of raspberry jelly on top)
beat cream cheese until smooth, add egg, beat some more, add sugar cookie mix, beat some more, then stir in chips by hand.
place 1tbsp of dough approx 2" apart on cookie sheet
bake for 9 to 11 minutes at 350.
My variation was that I put a thumbprint in the top of the cookie and filled it with raspberry jelly. These cookies were heavenly.
Also from my searching online I see that hershey's does make a raspberry chip.
