Question re: Career Counselors
How do I go about finding a career counselor in my area -- Northern New Jersey? I'm having a terrible crisis about my career direction and need help.
Thanks in advance!

One resource I always recommend to women in business is NAWBO (National Association for Women Business Owners). It's not just for business owners, but also for people who want to work with women business owners. Often, the chairs of your local NAWBO chapter will have amazing referrals, and would likely know some coaches. The one in your area is http://www.njawbo.org
I also did some google searching for you and found a couple of people who are life/career coaches in your area.

Also, I'd be happy to recommend my coach. I coach with Tiara Coaching here in Chicago. But they also do phone coaching and webinars, etc. http://tiaracoaching.com/
I live in Florida- and I'm looking for the same position (Career Counselor) and I use EmployFlorida.com - there are similar sites for all states, maybe you can try employNJ.com or EmployNewJersey.com. The company I'm looking to work for is WorkForce Alliance. Not sure if they have a location by you or not but you can maybe google them for your area. Good Luck!!
