Speaking of parades and football...
Does the parade conflict with the Thanksgiving day football games? Watching the parade is one of my favorite things ever, and DH's family is coming for Thanksgiving this year, and they're ridiculously into football. If I don't get to watch my parade I'm going to cry, lol.
Re: Speaking of parades and football...
This.
my currently-reading shelf:
This year football is different because there are 3 games (usually there's only 2). I am not a parade fan because I usually sleep in (they usually start football later when there's only 2 games), so what time does the parade start? As long as it's done by 9 AM PST (which seems possible given that it's in NYC), you're fine. Football is:
9:30 AM PST - Green Bay at Detroit (should be a really good game)
1:15 PM PST - Miami at Dallas (don't expect this one to be too good - Dallas should likely win)
5:00 PM PST - San Francisco at Baltimore (am hopeful this will be a good game; depends on what Baltimore team shows up)
HTH for TV and food planning.
Ugh, this is helpful, but no good
. The parade starts at 9am PST as well (they start the broadcast at the same time regardless of timezone). Blurg.
I am really not looking forward to this Thanksgiving.
Two different TVs? Or DVR? Or find a local sports bar that's open for the games... wouldn't surprise me if places were open for that first game, it will be a big one! Or, find an online feed of the parade and watch it early?
