Wedding Dress Poll

We're coming up on 3.5 years since the wedding and my dress is still hanging in the spare closet. I was horrible and lazy and didn't preserve it. Somehow it still looks pretty good, but I'm not sure what to do with it. Definitely not as attached to it as I was right after the wedding! So, wondering what all the June 08 Nesties have done with their dresses:

It's in the closet of my childhood bedroom @ my parents' house. I haven't looked @ it since I put it away (without cleaning) 3.5 years ago. Hopefully it still looks ok!

It's in a bag at my parent's house. I think it's in my old closet. I never cleaned it. I really should see if it's okay.

We have moved twice and I even got in the water for TTD and it surprisingly looks good, at this point I'm not sure what to do with it.

I had it cleaned but not preserved. It is hanging is a closet in one of our guest rooms.

It's hung up in our closet, not cleaned or anything. I took part of the corset tie and made a ribbon for a christening dress for Alex, but that's as far as I've gotten. I'd like to do something with at least part of it someday

It was hanging in what is now Tessa's closet, and it's now hanging on the back of my bedroom door. Never cleaned but looks pretty good!

Still in my old closet at my mom's house. Now that I'm having girls, I'll probably use it for pictures of some kind, or cut part of the train to use for headbands for newborn photos or something.

Mine is hanging in the plastic bag it came in, still dirty, in our bedroom closet. I have no idea what to do with it.

Natalie's Baptismal gown was made out of my dress, specifically the train. The bodice is still in tact, and the remainder of the dress is hanging in my closet.

I did a trash the dress in lake Michigan, then rinsed the sand out of it and sent it to Brides Against Breast Cancer to be cleaned and sold. Sometimes I'm a little sad that it's gone, but we really would not have room for it, and I have no idea what I would have done with it. I still have my lace shrug that Paul's aunt made for me, though, and the green ribbon I wore around my waist.

I wanted to cut up the skirt and make a baby blanket out of it when I was pregnant, but I couldn't go through with it. So it's sitting in a spare closet still dirty.

Mine is preserved and in a box in an undetermined location in our upstairs. Things got shuffled all around when we remodeled up there before Sawyer was born, and I still haven't gone into the spare bedroom or any of the closets or cubby holes to sort things out (after over a year, yeah). I'm glad it's preserved, but I hate that it's in a box because I sometimes wish I could look at it again.
