Weekend was good. DH worked inventory 11 hours Friday & 12 hours Saturday so I spent Saturday with my friend Jill at the Christmas parade, then shopping & lunch and attended a PartyLite show at SIL's house later that evening. Didn't need anything but our niece-in-law is selling it now so I ordered stuff to help her (and SIL) out.
Yesterday I started getting some of our Christmas stuff up outside since the morning was nice out. My cousin was passing thru (lives in Utah, working in Pitt for 2 months) so he stopped by my mom's for a while and we got to see him for a bit.
Lions pulled off a victory, as did Michigan and MSU so football was good!!!
And today is my Friday!!!
Looking forward to Thanksgiving and shopping on Friday, although it's going to be different this year without Dad. DH stepped up to carving the turkey this year, which he's never done so we'll see how that goes as well!
We spent the weekend unpacking the new place still! Hoping to get the place looking decent before Thanksgiving cause were having company.
My team plays tonight! But there were some crazy games yesterday and now I will have to listen to the greater DC area whine for another week about how bad the Redskins are....
I have a very awkward schedule this week because its a combo of a holiday week schedule and my usual school week schedule, I'm working today, off tomorrow, working Wed, off Thursday, working Friday-Saturday.

We had a good weekend. It was relaxing as we probably have a LOT of busy weekends ahead of us. I have to work M-W and then I'm off Th and Fri and going BF shopping!!
I have to be at my aunts who lives 40 minutes away from me at 3:30 am. 
My Bears won yesterday, but rumor has it, on fire Cutler broke his thumb and may be out for the season (requiring surgery). If that's the case, we're done. Oh well. There's always next year.
I was a complete bum Saturday! It was great. Sunday I did some wash, got my shopping done early (8-9am) for Thanksgiving food, and then went to my grandma's and had dinner at a German restaurant with a buffet with my dad, grandma, uncle and cousins who are visiting this week. It was great to see everyone!
My team won last night!! I managed to stay up b/c I stopped at DH's hockey game on the way home and went out and watched most of it out then saw the last little bit at home when they got ahead!
I'm off Thurs and Fri, and I'm taking a sick day tomorrow to go downtown to visit Pat's and Geno's for cheesesteaks with my uncle, cousins (it was one of their requests), bro, SIL, nephew and DH. We're going to be the judge of which has the best cheesesteak! I can't wait!

Weekend was good!
Fri night we went out for food and relaxed... Saturday I had two shoots and then dinner for sami's dad's 60th... Sami's grandfather is in the hospital for a heart attack... kinda out now where - so we went to the hospital sunday morning - he is in good spirits but now we find out he has pneumonia too (is it me or does that ALWAYS seem to happen to the elderly in the hospital???)...
also - fyi - Old Navy is having some CRAZY sales this week - i got a bunch of sweaters there yesterday for 75% off! every day this week it is something different! and got a second dress for Sami's sister's wedding in two weeks - seems I am at that "is she fat or pregnant stage" - which sucks - as i look really square in dresses right now. got this one from express in silver - Sami thinks the waist falls too low and isn't flattering - but i love it as i have black pumps that are covered in black sequins! fun!
otherwise - i'm feeling awfully full and fat. getting difficult to wear clothes. Sami had to seriously work it to get some, hmph - "alone time" this weekend as i am feeling about as far away from sexy as you can get. the junk and crappy food i've been eating sure doesn't help but it's all i want! i guess all those years of dieting and eating good have been suppressing my need for cards and things taht are fried! ugggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
ps - we've decided on TEAM GREEN - we wont' be finding out the sex til the LO is born! (uh - in reality, i've decided but Sami has no choice but to go along!)
on a brighter note: TONIGHT IS THE PATRIOTS! DA DA DA DA DA DAA DUM DUM. CANNOT WAIT - SUNDAY'S ARE SO BORING WITHOUT THEM!

We had a good weekend. Friday night we finally got delivery of our new couch and chairs for the living room that we have been waiting on for months (wanted to order 5 months ago, told to wait for a sale, ordered almost 3 months ago). They are SO comfy, and we are so happy with them.
Saturday DH went to a work party, and I went out to a girls night which was a lot of fun. Then we met up to meet some friends to watch the UFC fight, but I was half falling asleep the whole time.
Sunday I went with some friends to see the new Twilight movie, it was not great, but I enjoyed it for what it was.
We will both be working Mon, Tues, and part of Wednesday, then we get Thursday off, and we are taking Friday off. Yay for long weekends!
Oh yeah, and GT won against Duke.

Good to know - maybe I'll run over there at lunch today. DH's 3 year old great nephew/godson is on our "to buy for" list and according to SIL he needs clothes and nephew/niece usually buys him Old Navy stuff.
@Holly - I'm shocked that you guys are team green!!! I mean, I'm shocked because I could not possibly wait to find out, and good for you!! It'll be such a nice surprise on the day the baby comes!
My weekend was good - didn't do a whole lot, which was nice. I just stocked up on all the last-minute stuff I need for T-giving, I bought a TON of clothes yesterday but I had coupons, so I got alot for my money, I worked on some painting (see my calligraphy FB page if you want to know what I'm painting hehe), and caught up on DVR. It was nice and relaxing.
I have a full day today and tomorrow, a half day on Wed, and then Friday off too. I can't wait till Wed at 12
I had a good weekend, I guess. Friday night I lounged and cleaned. Kind of...more lounged. Haha! I have no energy right now! : )
Saturday got up early to watch Michigan beat the CRAP out of the Huskers. Ugh. Back to the drawing board for next year! Stayed up cleaning that evening and watched the Baylor/OU game, which was really fun to watch! Sunday the Lions pulled it out! I was so excited!!! We are still tied with the Bears for the wildcard spots for the NFC (and, yes, Cutler does have to have surgery and is done for the season...). Hopefully we can hold on for a bit longer!!! Did some more cleaning yesterday. I have a lot to do the next three days to get the house all clean for this weekend.
Tonight I have volleyball at 8:10 and then 9...and it is 30 minutes away where I play...so I won't get home til 10:30 tonight. Boooo!!!
I am super excited for this weekend, though! Big reveal to our immediate families! Jeff's mom and sister will get their flowers Wednesday evening that will tell them on their cards, and then I am telling my family Thanksgiving evening before we eat! I feel like it will make it all seem so much more real! : )

My weekend was great, I got Harry Potter's autograph!!! I took my 16YO niece to see How to Succeed in Business (on Broadway) yesterday because it stars Daniel Radcliffe, who she's been obsessed with since she was like 7. She was so excited, and we had such a great day together. She apparently Googled the best way to get his autograph, so as soon as the curtain went down and they started bows, we booked it out of there and went to the stage door. I can't say that it was much fun standing in a mob of teenagers for half an hour. But, we both managed to get our Playbills autographed. I only got mine done in case she wasn't able to (I couldn't care less for myself), so I did my good deed for the day and gave mine to the kid behind me who was practically crying because he didn't get one.
In case you were wondering - Daniel Radcliffe is tiny (like, 5'4" maybe) and pasty white. I don't see the appeal, but you should have heard these kids screaming for him! I was more excited to get John Laraquette's autograph - he's the other star of the show. I'm guessing most of the people in that crowd had never heard of Night Court
And I'm loving that this is a short week, I am off after tomorrow!
Another boring weekend here and it was fabulous. We had all kinds of stuff we needed to get done and didn't do a damn thing!
We both have Thursday and Friday off and are going to spend Turkey day with my family. Friday we are all going to Christmastown at Busch Gardens. Overall I'm not looking forward to this long weekend because my sister keeps trying to turn our pregnancies into some kind of competition and it's getting really old. I'm so over it and I'm afraid I'm going to snap at her. Just leave me alone and let me enjoy my pregnancy and I'll let you enjoy yours, mmkay?

We had a *great* weekend.
Friday night I picked up take n bake pizza for dinner and then I did some laundry and made my cherry pie while DH cleaned the bathroom. I also picked up some more around the apartment.
Saturday, we finished cleaning and laundry and I cooked everything for dinner. Our friends came over for Friendsgiving in the evening and we had so much fun. It turned out so great that I am thinking about making it an annual tradition.
Sunday we went to breakfast with IL for FILs birthday then hung out with them for awhile at their house. Then we stopped by my parents to see my mom for her bday, but she was out shopping with my sister, so we hung out with my dad for awhile. We got home relatively early and just chilled for the rest of the night.
I am off Thursday and Friday and still trying to decide if I am hitting some of the doorbusters on Friday or waiting until my BFF gets off work at noon to go then. DH has to work part of Friday, so not sure what his plans are yet.
@Danie: I was stalking last week and saw your little gummy bear! How adorable! So happy for you guys that everything looks to be on track! Can't wait to hear the reactions! Be sure to videotape it if you can!

Well today is like double Monday for me since I was off all last week (hence my absence). We managed to get LOTS of stuff done last week/weekend so I'm happy! The nursery is pretty much complete (pictures to come later this week), Christmas lights are up, and got lots of sewing done!
Also DH put in his 2 weeks notice last night!! His last day will officially be December 3! I'm so stoked! He has an interview on Wednesday with the company that we have been praying he gets in with!
This week I really don't have much time off. Just Turkey day and then a few hours on Friday for a doctor's appointment.

@Holly, yay for another Team Greener! Being TG was fun, and surprisingly, most of our family was glad we waited to find out (my mom was slightly disappointed at not knowing... she wanted to shop lol). If we have another, I might be persuaded to find out ahead of time, that way if it was a girl we could get prepared, but we'll see! Enjoy the suspense!
This weekend was a long one for me, started on Wednesday when I packed up Milo and headed for MA. Dropped him at my mom's and then went to an awards banquet for my dad (he received a "lifetime achievement award" for 50 years in the business). My sisters and stepmom were there, we were SO proud of him, it was a really special evening.
Thursday and Friday I chilled at my mom's and then on Saturday went to see a couple of old friends (as in middle school/high school friends) and then brought M to see his grandparents and aunt for dinner.
Yesterday, drove back to NJ and chilled with DH in the evening, went to bed early. Totally zonked from all the socializing this weekend! So glad I only have to last until Wed afternoon at work!
ETA: Pats vs Chiefs tonight... woo hoo!

this weekend was good, but fast! Friday I went out with a friend/coworker of mine to this fantastic tavern.
saturday i went to a sleepover. it was fun, but i was EXHAUSTED and didn't get much sleep. I probably won't sleep over next year.
Sunday was pretty lazy after getting home. we went out to a new BBQ place (owned by Tiffany Faison, who was a top chef runner up in season 1) and it was delicious!
and the patriots are on RIGHT NOW!!! GO PATS!!
