Fly-Lady - when to start?
I think I just did spring cleaning in November, getting ready for oot guests. So now I want to keep up with it.
I heard flylady was a good way.
Do you do flylady? When is the best time to start? January?
Re: Fly-Lady - when to start?
You can start whenever, it's an ongoing thing. No reason not to start right away when your home is already clean.
Just be warned, her emails can be overwhelming and a lot of sales pitches. Definitely consider choosing the daily compilation email over the 8 or so individual emails a day.

You can start whenever you feel like you need it! Like the PP said, it's an on going thing. I kind of like the stream of emails in my inbox, but I'm just weird that way
If I'm having an off day or don't want to read them I just delete them.
Good Luck!
I found her book Sink Reflections on clearance at Half Priced Books and I found that was the most helpful for me to put things into perspective and to start a routine for myself. I had tried her system before and didn't stick with it. I also find the Cozi calendar app to be quite helpful. It is a simple place for the daily mission and right now instead of doing the missions I am/should be spending 15 minutes a day decluttering in the zone for that day/week. I have done well keeping my kitchen and sink clean and keeping up with my swish and swipe, now I am going to add in some daily decluttering in the zone.
Baby steps, go slow and don't beat yourself up if you miss a day or a habit, it takes time to build these habits and to change your thinking.
Good luck!
As others have said, any time is a good time.
I started right before my September wedding... which perhaps wasn't the best time to start "routines" with being away for a week and a half and whatnot, but if you look for it, there'll always be an excuse.
I'm still struggling to do things daily, but it truly is fantastic program and things are slowly getting so much better! Personally, I like her emails - though I do get one a day - because among other things, they help me know I'm not alone and have helped change the way I look at my home and myself.
