Traffic on BW Parkway Thanksgiving morning?
We're flying out of BWI Thanksgiving morning. Our flight is at 10:30 and we live in Alexandria, south of Old Town, so we'll be hopping on 295 up to the parkway and I was wondering if there'll be traffic that early in the morning? I know a lot of people drive on Thanksgiving so I'm just wondering how much time to allow us to get there. I HATE driving up to BWI because traffic is so unpredictable, but it is what it is.

Three years ago, we went home (to north Baltimore) for Thanksgiving on Thursday, and it took us about 2 hours from the Annandale. However, we took 95 and left around 10 a.m.. We are definitely doing the BW Parkway this time and probably going to leave a bit earlier.
Give yourself an extra 45 minutes, and pending no accidents, you should be fine.
